Nice update Armar cheers. 👍

@ above

He means that when you apply breaks too hard this causes them to Lock up and skid across the ground, this friction wears a small flatspot on the tire thus causing it to vibrate the steering, this happens allot on F! and other motor sports, and since we have an F1 car in the game it would be a nice addition to game.

beaten to it :D

were getting all tecy with flatspoting, I think the awnser is yes, turn into a corner and then slap the brakes on hard and watch your car understeer like an oil tanker LOL

Cool, went for a couple hours and another update! I don't see the need for any more now, but do if others want and if you must!

u mean flat spoting?

Can I just post up a quick reminder of part of the sites AUP....

AUP
No slang words that promote laziness, ie; “r”, “u”, “plz”, etc. will be tolerated.
Decent grammar is expected, including proper usage of capital letters. Repeated
violations will be grounds for suspension and/or permanent removal from the

I know that a lot of you are new here and are very excited about GT5P, which is why this is a friendly piece of advice. The AUP is to be followed, please ensure you are familiar with it and ensure you keep to it; the staff here will not hesitate to take action against anyone who repeatedly refuses to follow the AUP.

6 gb of install? That can't be right. I got mine of PSN, but that's only a 1,8 gb file incl. install..
And yes, that is the PAL version as well.

I would dearly love to know how you have managed to download the full GT5:P in PAL, as its not yet been released (on disc or download) publicly, and will not be on the store until the 27th of this month.

I will be totally honest with you, the author of this thread has a history of providing 100% accurate GT information, and has done so repeatedly. If he says that the install on GT5:P is 6gigs then that's good enough for me.

On the other hand I would love for you to be able to prove that you have the full GT5:P PAL download on your PS3. So if you would be so kind as to follow his lead and post up some screenshots of your full version of GT5:P running to back up this claim; it would be greatly appreciated.

If not then I can only assume that you do not actually have something that has not been publicly released and in which case I would ask that you re-acquaint yourself with the part of the AUP regarding posting knowingly inaccurate information.

amar, you are THE man!!! CAN'T WAIT!

I think you can also see that the surface of that carbon body is not perfectly flat huh? that's what I call graphics ;)

Everything in this thread is news to me, I've been on another planet since Frinday (working holiday in Scotland) and I haven't seen or heared any of this until the time it took to read the first post ago.

Amar you out do yourself over and over again, your GTP's Mr Reliable when it comes to information and the fact you take your time to not just share the info but put it together so well is very nice 👍.

I guess I don't need to tel you to keep up the good work since I'm sure you will anyway, but keep up the good word .

I can't see how doing the challenges in professional is 'impossible' besides, if you've done all the challenges and got around the 'ring in under 5 minutes it couldn't be to hard, besides, i'm not quite mortal! I also don't see why Poly would put somthing in thats only possible for few to do, I mean millions will have this game. We'll just see how hard they really are when I get this apparent b****rd of a game to complete.

But can the wheels be completely locked when say going fast on the straight and then instantly mashing brake pedal to the floor (with ABS set to OFF on professional physics) ? In jp prologue?
And does it work the same in pal version, amar212 ? :)

tnx for info in advance!

You silly person! No one will see my magnificent post :P Or will they?

Sorry if this dumb question has already been asked, but if the install is upwards of 6GB off the Blu-ray version, do you still need the disc in to play, or does it essentially become a HDD-based game like any normal PSN download?

I believe it still needs disk to play, even though the entire game is on the disk, this is a shame, but I suppose it is to stop people borrowing the disk then installing, not paying for their own copy.

Yeah, true. Still, if the download is 1871 MB, what takes up all the other space on the Blu-ray install?!

Edit: Yeah yeah, MB guys...jeez, was it worth the bandwidth and database space Fyshokid?!

LOL Mistake! Or maybe there is compression on Blu-Ray version :P

No really if the DL was only 1.7 GB because of compression it would explain the install time.

How the hell did you DL that?????

in addition to the downloadable version the bluray version installs the track introduction videos and a nissan gt-r feature.

@bjaelke:
how did you get the PAL gt5 prologue on PSN?

Thats definately a PAL copy as it has 2 player. Its rather remarkable though, never once (well from what I've seen) had a point which the majority of people thought to be wrong and then comes and proves us wrong! Amazing.

Compression is the obvious answer I guess. So can anybody who has officially downloaded a preview version from PSN confirm how much drive space is taken up post-installation?

come on bjaelke, give us some more info please. are you that guy who already has unlocked the f2007? are you that guy who will upload the new intro movie (if it´s included in your version of the game) ?

I just bought the F430, which you see on the second screen. The F2007 is not in my garage (yet). The download version doesn't include any movies. You can see the intro movie on GT TV, but that service is down.

I used a promotion code and downloaded it. It's the final build.

PM me the code and I would most certainly be happy to put it to the test, while I am not 100% doubting you, I'm sure you can understand why this all sounds a bit iffy.
