@shaunm80

Excellent work friend! Just finished building the 500PP Audi and it is very good... 👍
For a car that is limited to 69% its still very competitive. Used it on the 500PP seasonal and won!

Just wanted to leave a little comment; I believe there is no need for TCS-1. I always run with all assists off and its a grip machine (on SH tyres, still going to try SS...) For fast cornering tracks, ABS can be also turned off.
Just noticed a little rotation on slower corners, but nothing that can be fixed with a tweak on the suspension... (please dont be upset!!)

So, congrats for a great tune.

Chat soon. :)

PS: Out of curiosity, the color you painted the car is... ? :D

EDIT: will leave feedback on 550 & 600PP later... 👍

Your right. There is no need for TCS 1. the tunes I create at TCS 1 can be turned off and they work exactly the same, if not a little smoother in the corners. I just find it a useful aid to tune with :) For sure, the sports soft tune is better than the sports hard tune but I am still happy with outcome of the 500PP tune. It makes for an easy win in a fun car. I can't recall what the paint colour is at the moment. Will have to check next time I load up the PS3.

Enjoy the Sports Soft tune. You really can drive the 550PP to the limits and it will repay you with smooth, fast driving. The 600PP version needs a little more concentration but it is very fast and extremely capable.

Edit: The paint on the Audi R8 is GT CHROME 005-C and I painted the alloys with a CHROME SILVER colour as well.

Great tune ! Thanks for sharing ! I was able to win Willow Springs quite easily with this tune !

This is one tune of many which I have found that can win Willow Springs easily so far. Its even more fun when you win that race with a 550PP with SH tyres. Thats quite a challenge but its possible in the Ferrari California '08.

Yeah, something like that. Its no slouch at 500PP though. 4wd pushing it along with a little less gusto than usual but still. 364 bhp isn't to be sniffed at.
I would be good to have a expert class 500 PP Race to sort out the best Car. The beginner class reminds me on Sunday Cup Races

The easiest thing to do is select a track (GVS or Trial Mountain), select a load of tuned 500PP cars on SH tyres and run a few laps with each. Kind of like the FITT challenges. You will then get a feeling for the strengths and weaknesses of all the cars used.

Tuned with TCS 1 and ABS 1 only. Testing on Suzuka in Free run mode, this car was consistently running 2.04s - 2.05s every lap.

Tested on the A Spec Race itself. Wins easily. Even with my shoddy ability on Suzuka at present. :)

I used this tune for the seasonal and won with it, so thanks for that. I was getting pretty worried after trying a few cars that I would not be able to get this one done. It looks like you enjoy doing this stuff but don't ever think we don't appreciate it, I really get more value from GT6 because of your (and others) tunes.

As you mentioned in another post, the NSX is a bit slidey, which I enjoyed, but my skill level is not quite up there yet. So I changed the front springs to 10.00 (from memory as my wife wont get off the TV for me to check it) and this suited my style a lot better, and I took the lead on lap 3. Which is amazing given I thought I wouldn't ever gold it. Some of it was from practice but having a good tune gave me the incentive to put in that practice, because the car was fun to drive. I got consistent laps under 2:02, down from 2:11. Many thanks and I am going to keep trying until I get a sub 2min lap, if my wife ever gets sick of watching the cycling :)

I do enjoy doing tunes for GT6. It is my brief escape from college work for a few hours when I need a break. It also helps others who may not be able to reach a specific goal for any of the seasonal races or career races. So its nice to give something back to the game.

About lap 3 is where I take the lead in this car as well. I find the AI cars are up my bottom for the next lap and a half but eventually I break the 4 second barrier which means they drop off and leave me alone. Its not a bad thing trying to get sub 2 min laps. The money bonus from this event is worth trying to better your times alone. My other half can't get to the TV most evenings right now because I have the FIFA World Cup on most nights when I am finishing off college assignments. She doesn't seem to mind too much, at least she doesn't say anything if she does.

LOL, I have no leverage tonight as I have hogged the TV watching every world cup game up to yesterday.

Expert A Spec 600PP SS Tyres

The Aston Martin below rejoined the track even though I was on the apex and hit me head on. This manoeuvre cost me the race as I lost by about 2.5 seconds at the end.

The best time i have achieved so far is 1.16s every lap in the Ford GT40 Mark 1 '66 Anniversary Edition (550PP Version). It took exactly 7 mins to complete the race in that car.

Thats a wicked time...:) I wish I had the annerversary pack.. I live in Cyprus and couldn't get it at the time..do you know if they are ever going to release the dlc separately on psn

I have no idea.. It all depends on PD i guess. I think they originally did it when you pre-ordered or paid extra for the anniversary edition. You may have to buy the game again if you want the anniversary edition perhaps. ? PD website should be able to tell you.

Edit: In the UK, you can purchase the game in Anniversary edition from this link. It should be the same where you live.

Yes. When the power is increased from the 500PP version. The transmission has to be changed to reflect the new power settings. A 600PP car will be faster than a 500PP car so the final gear needs to be lengthened to reach a better top speed. Its common practice to reset a gear box if you add power parts to get the most out of the acceleration.

Nope. The suspension and drivetrain will be different too. Very slight.. but they will be different. You will need to do each tune individually. Do one. Copy from Sheet A to Sheet B. make sheet B another tune with all the new settings. Repeat process for Sheet C for the final tune. Hope that makes sense.

Yes it does thanks for the help I just had so many settings I got confused. ..so I deleted them all and started again...I found all 3 tunes on page 1... doh lol

Tuned with TCS 1 and ABS 1 only. Testing on Suzuka in Free run mode, this car was consistently running 2.04s - 2.05s every lap.

Tested on the A Spec Race itself. Wins easily. Even with my shoddy ability on Suzuka at present. :)

I just beat Suzuka!!!!! using this car & your tune setup.. it took 3 tries & with of the AI Cars being such SOB's with all of the bashing/ramming/shoving me around the track. it was wild... and yet they suck. my car beat a white lambo aventador lp 700-4 '11 by.160 at the line! your tunes have always been on the money. many thanks... Hi Shaun ! The 1.09 Update has arrived (Good Stuff) and it says that The effect of the tyre geometry has been changed (mainly for the “Camber Angle" option. So I started to check out two Cars. The Audi R8 LMS ultra with Camber 2.5 and 3.5 and the Audi R8 5.2 TFI Chrome Line with Camber 0.0 and both seems to be work same before (Feeling and Lap Time. I'm happy that the Austrian Red Bull Ring is a part of the Game now
