I am currently 17 points off gold but I have not yet strung all 4 sectors together yet in the same attempt. If i get my four best sectors on the same attempt, this car is capable of a 7500-8000 point score.

Edit: Gold achieved with 6000 points. Thats me done. I got the Chrome paint and I'm on to the next one.

Argh, The ring at night in a car which isn't tuned in the slightest. I am going to pass on that one. I really wanted that paint colour too. I can't complete a lap of the 'ring in day light without going off at some point so I've got no chance in the dark.

Hallowed ground. Best racetrack in the World. Absolutely love the 24 minute 'endurance' race with it's time/weather change. Choosing a car that can barely win forces you to keep it fast & clean.

I have a solution.

Take your number 1 favorite/trusted car and practice, practice, practice.

Use the ghost if you can & drive till your brain hurts. You'll learn the track eventually & be able to race at night without the driving line.

Tuned with TCS 1 and ABS 1 only. Testing on Suzuka in Free run mode, this car was consistently running 2.04s - 2.05s every lap.

Tested on the A Spec Race itself. Wins easily. Even with my shoddy ability on Suzuka at present. :)

Any update to this after the camber fix?

This Lexus come with understeer as stock. I know the Ring but i don't come under 10 min. With GTI Vision and Toyota TS030 i got Gold but i don't even think to try Drift Events today

I haven't got gold on TS030 yet. But I will get gold on that one. Ive got gold on the drift events, they were fairly easy once I got the hang of the drift circuit and the corner entry. A fun selection from PD this week (apart from Nurburgring)

Any update to this after the camber fix?
With regards to the camber fix. I haven't had time to test camber fix on any of my tunes so far. To be honest, I don't feel the NSX-R needs adapting as its still very fast and 0.0/0.0 camber isn't really a hindrance to a road car. If anything, It gives the car a more natural feel when driving. As most of my tunes will show, I rarely use Camber unless I had no other way to manipulate the grip and turn in potential from a car. Some cars need it for sure, but others work just fine with no camber at all. I may start trying out camber now the update has been applied but I doubt ill revise older tunes in my garage unless they really need it.

quote="shaunm80, post: 9787078, member: 197477"]The BMW m5's have always been good at 550PP. In GT5, they were nearly unbeatable at that PP range. Still going strong today.

It may not feel the fastest of the TC cars but I agree, it has perfect handling on it which makes it fun all round.[/quote]
Youre right it doesn't actually feel like youre going that fast in it...but you're and it does handle perfectly. ..well done on the tune:)

You are very right with the Lexus and for the drift event i think it's the BMW M3 GTR . You can find the drift Tune at Page 19
Thats correct. The BMW M3 GTR can get gold. Also, the Lamborghini Aventador drift tune can get gold easily too. I haven't tried my other BMW drift tune yet. Thats the BMW Z4 drift tune. 2 can get gold, the Z4 should be able to as well.

I am currently testing out the camber update with a new tune. The car I am testing is a Mercedes 190 Evolution II '91. It is tuned at 450PP on Sports Hard tyres to allow me feel what is happening when I play around with various camber settings. My first instinct is that camber is helping with turn in grip and mid corner speed/balance is better with certain camber settings but it is affecting the balance of the car on the corner exit. I can see a definitely difference in the 1.09 update when tuning with camber but I'm not sure it's cured all the niggles with it.

Thanks i will try them soon! Of course i totally forgot about those cars. I used the lambo last time for a drift event. So i will give the m3 a go this time.

I was trying to do it in my stock F40 as we all know that it is pretty much a drift car with no tune. :sly:

Erm. The best tuning circuits for me are Apricot Hill Circuit, Trial Mountain for road cars. GVE is really good too as its a all round tuning track and I like tuning at F1 tracks with track cars. Silverstone, Spa, Red Bull Track, Nurburgring GP Circuit.
with this tuning ride 1.24.500 to red bull ring, other people run in 1.22.700 you have any advice?

the new golf gt vision
You may be able to gain 0.5 - 1 second if you change the final gear of the gear box so you hit your top speed at the fastest part of the track. Also, Adjust the LSD Acceleration as high as you can manage to drive it and that should gain you some time as well. The handling of the car is as good as I can get it, if you need more speed, you'll have to do the changes to the transmission and LSD. Hope that helps.

Personally I was struggling a lot with the lambo on this type of track. I switched and tried your z4 and it was soo much easier. I put in some real bad sectors but still ended up with the gold after two restarts. Nice one, i really wanted the paint chip as always.
