Hi guys, i was bored today, read some on GTplanet and came upon the new season events and got curious about the bathurst historic race.
off course used the @shaunm80 Ferrari 330 p4 tune, got 1st at lap 3 and then the race really started
It's a raceway with narrow roads, but at least it is not Nurburgring .

Anyway, @shaunm80 ...i recorded the race (with some small ranting in the beginning) so if you want to link the clip? be my guest. I did not change anything on the tune.

Have done that now. You are right to moan about the way that we get 5 second penalties when we glance another car but they get no penalty when they smash into you at high speed. It is definitely unfair and I hope that the AI is improved for GT Sport and PD get rid of the rabbit chasing format. Give us a proper grid start so we can actually fight wheel to wheel for a win, not just drive the nuts of something and be guaranteed a win.

500PP isn't bad, the 430 would be less competitive if you downgrade the PP level too much so even at 60PP less is good. Which 430 tune did you use for this event by the way?

I used the '06 version, also the 458, 599 and F40 @ 500pp, managed to win in everything but the 458! Then I noticed I could run up to 560 so I jumped in the 07 430 at 549pp and found that the excess power made it harder for the other 430's to catch me but easier for me to over shooter my turns! But I dig both cars. No tune, stock.

Beginners' Level Ferrari Challenge (560PP SH)
Ferrari California '08 (550PP SH)

The California '08 is not only a sweet car but it's a sweet car for the race.
Had it in my garage (pretty much unused I think, with no tune) and was glad for the opportunity to use it when I saw your tune and with it. I adjusted the power to 560PP for the race limit though). Good gold on both automatic and manual. Cheers bro.

I'm back in Business , just finished the Seasonals I have used the Ferrari F40 (500 PP) and the Toyota Supra Turbo A '88 . At Bathurst i have used the Ferrari 330 P4 for a easy win (this beautiful Car can do laps under 2 min.)

The California is a great car at this PP range. about the right size and power for this event.
