Also the one you win will be 0 miles BNIB which is perfect trade bait.

I went ahead & bought the one that showed up in my UCD so I could drive the socks of it now.

Ended up being deeply disapointed with the ferrari enzo when i bought it, no way is it 3 times better than the 458 yet its nearly 3 times the price at 1 million credits?.

If they came out at the same time... and one wasn't limited quantity (in real life™ anyway), that might have been relevant. The Enzo actually came out, what 7 or 8 years before the 458?

I was originally disappointed in the Enzo, but once I got it tuned in, it's now my favorite car in GT5.

The XJ220, both road and race versions... 2,500,000 cr. wasted on those two aprox. I ended up eliminating the road car and trading the race car for an Escudo...

the FGT.

or at least I'll regret it till I get a steering wheel, I cannot control that thing consistently enough with a DS3 to win a 20 lap race :ouch:

Of course i've driven the car have you? "A good deal faster?"... i doubt it. The r10 is a superior machine in every way..Besides i could care less what the AI drive at indy, i still wish i would have spent the credits on something else.

I'm with you Havok_, the Audi R8 Race Car '01 is horrible. For a car with a downforce minded body, it doesn't stick to the road very well. I don't know if you guys are using aids or what but aids off and grip set to real, this thing is rubbish.

You sure? I own both and they're two of the fastest, most stable, best performing cars in the game regardless of price point! I can smoke most anything with them this side of a FGT or and X2010! Maybe you got a lemon copy?:sly:

I love mine - but each their own I guess...

I love the Castrol Tom's Supra... great car; very well balanced.

Now the race-modded NSX that I just sank a bunch of $$$ into... I'd toss that into the lake on Trial Mountain for Nessie to play with if I could figure out how. :)

Sometimes I wonder if we are too reliant on tuning, as if one car can't be driven throwing it around, we just say it is undrivable.

This ^. IMHO, too many people want every car in the game to drive the same. I LOVE the fact that most cars handle quite differently from each other in stock form. It's the only thing that gives them character. (See my sig). I think a lot of people dismiss certain cars because they can't seem to install the driver mod on them. :D

But I still hate the NSX RM (and I refuse to mod it to the moon and back to make it better). :D

But you get it awefully late in the game. So at least you get to enjoy it now. It's a fabulous car!

I suppose, but I bought it in the UCD about 2 or 3 weeks ago, just completed 24 hr le mans B-spec 2 days ago

I think I'll keep the new one at 0 miles though :)

Just bought a 10 xkr.....feels like driving a cruise ship. and bought the 599 . i really really want to like it but i hate that to get it to handle well i have to buy better tires. Shouldnt be this way .

It annoys me that people expect there to be one 'ultimate' lm car

They are all different in slightly different ways

I have the 787b, merc c9, Toyota GT-one and the 908
All great cars, some will come out on top depending on the track

I like mine, it sits at around 335hp with racing hards, threw down a 7:22:XX on the Nord with it.

It's really not THAT bad :). I just think it feels heavier than it should...but it still has it's own personality, so I give it props for that.

I even like the Art Morrison 'vette in a way, although it is probably the worst handling car I have... compared to what I expected from it.

****

On a semi-related note, I don't get people's complaints with the Speed 12's handling. That car is pure beast; I ran a time on the tiny turn-filled Autumm Ring Mini with that is faster than my time with the mighty 787b, with both cars on SS tires. It's all about finding the balance and learning to drive each car and respect their limits.

Ferrari F2007 12500000 cr and can't be used anywhere

I've heard several people say this and i agree the F2007 is a waste of money but i've been able to use it in several races. What races are you not able to use it in? I even use it in B-spec endurance races.

The Ferrari 458 is good but it's hard not to hit the rev limiter, you can't rev it far enough into the red line and for me that's annoying, because I'm always accidently hitting the limiter.

What races have you been able to use the F2007 in A-spec?

Alright I'm going to try again & see if this has changed since buying the F2007.

Nothing new :

I saved up every penny I could to buy a DeLorean early on in the game before I realized you won it... it took away the funds I had earmarked for buying a Ferrari and a Lamborghini for the Professional cups... that hurt, and it set me game a good ways back!

The most useless cars to me, are the ones i just buy for the color, and that must be the TVR ones because i like those colors. Otherwise i havent bought any useless car that i regret. Oh i forgot, i bought a nissan gt-r specv and tuned it for 200 000:-, and then i sold it because it thaught it sucked. Then i bought one again and retuned it, guess i forgot the racing tyres and suspension.

The Lexus IS-F Racing concept. It's useful and all, but had I known it would be a prize car, I never would've bought it. Now, I got two. Oh well.

One of the main issues i see in this thread is people buy X super car then proceed to add 350 more HP to it and say its crap without having tried the base car first.

Alot of my cars have just racing tires and maybe LSD and some weight loss that's it.

Case in point XJ220 and the racing version are both excellent cars my guess is its the person controlling them that has the issue with them.

Ive actually started buying copy's of certain cars just to have a modded and un modded version of them ( ferraris are a prime example of this )

so before saying X car is rubbish try driving it AS IS first then tweak accordingly i think you will find some cars are best as they are purchased and not with an extra 350HP added to them.

Really? Why would you lie about something everybody already knows that isn't true?

Any race that does not have a specific car type or country requirement in A-spec i can use it in. Even the sunday cup lets me i just have to change the tires.

You're either making stuff up for the heck of it or are thinking of a different car.

To be clear. The premium Ferrari Formula 1 cars are what is being discussed. Not the Formula GT, which is a standard car, and can be used anywhere you like, according to restrictions of course.

that's why i check the HP when i buy cars...theres a 10 million dollar car that only has like 350 HP, so i'm gonna get that in the very distant future.
