I've heard several people say this and i agree the F2007 is a waste of money but i've been able to use it in several races. What races are you not able to use it in? I even use it in B-spec endurance races.

You probably mean the FGT or Formula Gran Turismo as both Ferrari F1 cars can't be used, I'll repeat, can't be used in either A or B-spec as opposed to the FGT.

i bought the GT by Citroen concept 08 to race in the extreme dream car championship. WELLL i did not know i would run out of battery power on monza 2 laps before finishing >_< i wish i didnt waste that 2 million haha

Nissan R89C. 3.5 million credits from the User Car lot and has awful, awful snap oversteer. Tuning only helps a little and it remains one of the most unpleasant driving experiences in my garage. Lesson learnt. :grumpy:

Castro Tom's Supra is one of the best "GT2" cars along with Penzoil skyline, the sounds... the shifting...I even watched them on replay race available on the event. I don't know what happened now

I have thought about the F10, but then I found out about the new seasonal events which feature the F10. Full of win for me! :D

Why all the hating on the Enzo? It is miles faster then the other Ferraris. People need to realise that just because its not the best car out of the box does not make it a write off. Its called tuning. You don't expect every car to be given to you with optimal settings do you? Otherwise there would be no point being able adjust settings at all.

Yes, I do expect optimal settings out of the box. To be more precise: I expect the settings to reflect the real world settings from Ferrari. And I am not arrogant enough to claim I would do a better job setting up a hypercar than Ferrari engineers.

Tuning is for fiddling with compromized family cars and rice racers.

NASCAR. Bought it for the seasonal event because I was too impatient to win it from the Jeff Gordon events. Then, I got frustrated by the Nurburgring (wasn't familiar with it at the time) and gave up on the event, only to forget about it until the deadline passed. :( 500,000 cr gone.

I should have just placed 5-6 in the race to recoup the cost but never mind...

I wish I didn't buy the 97 Castrol Tom's Supra. Not that it is a bad car, I love it. I didn't know I would win it. I hate finding out what I will win in a game. I like being surprised. I ended up giving the extra one away.

I bought the Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car just before finding out that PD changed the rewards for the AMG challenge and that it could now be won by golding the Intermediate level. $3.5Million+ cr. gone... *sigh*

I don't know if this was a bad decision or not, but I did get desparate and spend 5,000,000 on the Audi R8 LMS Playstation Race Car. I guess it was a bad idea since I was also looking for a boat load of other race cars as well, but at least I can get all that money back with Seasonal Events.

I bought the Audi R10 for almost 5 million credits... terrible oversteer problems at low speeds that I can't fix with any tune. Should have gone with the 908.

I follow the real GT races, and this car (Peugeot 908) it's amazing. I think it will pay the investment.

The Audi r10 tdi lmp. I grinded for hours for that car and it's not a patch on the peugot 908 hdi fap. I wasn't expecting it to be as fast, but just don't really like the feeling of it, plus I don't like the steering wheel...

Pretty small thing to complain about, but that's life... I love the Castrol Tom's Supra btw.

set up the R10 right and it will blow the doors off a Sauber... what are you talking about? i loved that car! Then i picked up a 2005 R8.. no comparison.. the R8 is wholly better!

I'm going to buy one now after reading your post.

If that was at me, I hope you don't like having ~990k in your bank account :D

In fairness, I only drove the 5 on dirt where rear wheeled cars are obviously harder to drive, but after all, it is a rally car.

if i had to say biggest waste of dough... itd be the M3 Coupe 2007.. i dont know why.. maybe its the Car and Driver overhype.. but the car is slow as turd and useless in the European championship.. last time i listen to them regarding an M3 :banghead: and then i picked up the Z4 M coupe... i LOVE that car!

Didn't cost me a thing because I used one of my trading accounts to buy the car since it was in the UCD then send it to my main account. Now I have one to race & one to trade now. :sly:

None of teh cars i bought was waste of money, maybe because I like cars or maybe because I read the body of text on the right side yes that long ass essay about the car and its history.

Plus chances ar I will never be able to drive a really expensive race car.

I bought that P.O.S. Vertigo something or other $1.9 million credits, I was so pissed, I sold almost every car in my garage, I got about $1 million back, but couldn't sell that piece of crap Vertigo, worst purchase ever.

I'm about to have a go @ the Gillet Vertigo Race Car after hearing all the people complain about it. That was one of my fav cars from GT3 & GT4.
