CAMAROBOY69 you know I can run everything in high now, so expect to see the same kind of Blood screen i took a screen of. But even better looking then my last screen.
Yeah when I get my new PC built I will be taking a LOT of pics. You really really need one heck of a PC to handle the full detail in FEAR. I cant wait!! No more jagged lines or crappy FPS. It will be nice to enjoy FEAR the way its supposed to be played. 👍
Yes you should post some pics in the highest settings. I dont want to see any jagged lines.:sly:

Whats weird is that FEAR really doesnt have too great of graphics. The textures are just, boring. Other then the fun shooting, killing, and blood, the game is not too fancy. And i run everything on maximum at 1024x768, and soft shadows off.

Those of you with the fast PC's you should get some screen shots of this game in the highest settings. I still havent seen any pics without jagged lines which means no one has posted full quality pics yet.

Trust me I have got every setting on full, with a res of either 1024x768 or 1280x1024. Aswell as Soft shadows on, planning to use the NVidia desktop tool to put AA up to 8x or 16x.

So expect to see some screens in the week or at the weekend folks.

Excellent I cant wait. You should post a screen shot of your settings too. I know there are "advanced computer" adjustments and "advanced video adjustments" or something like that. And there are a lot of setting in each one. I messed with them for about an hour just to see the difference. Some of the settings make objects appear and disappear like cans and other miscelaneous items. The lower the settings the less items will appear.

Can't go to 16x my 6800 GT only supports 8Xs AA, also I have put some other settings up through the NVidia graphics card properties Like Image quality to the best looking setting.

Also I would say get 2GB of either these type of Ram:

DDR2
DDR 3200 Cas 2

I have 2GB of GSkill Cas 2 Ram, the product name is G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x1GB) CAS2 Dual Channel Kit (F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX). And well it has helped me a lot of getting to the best settings, while giving me a stable frame rate.

The fourth Screeny has amazing detail  .

Ah, if i tried those settings on my laptop it would lag like there's no tomorrow :grumpy:

My Vaio is on its second power adaptor, first one died under unknown circumstances. Current battery life is around 9-10 minutes :D

So has your laptop officially died or does it need a new AC Adaptor!

No it's not the adaptor it's the little port the plug goes into the one that's suppose to be soddered onto the board that's made really really really ****ty so it breaks and you have to buy the stupid part off eBay and then open up an increadibly retarded construction of a laptop if I've ever seen one and hope it holds. :dopey: :irked:

I think my HP would beat your VAIO in suckyness depending when you got yours. Can you beat 32mb SHARED vid mem?

I hope the repair process goes smoothly :D, you are going to repair it right :nervous:

My Vaio has 8mb graphics memory - just when you thought it couldn't get any lower. :scared:

 oh ****... I stand corrected. :indiff: How old is that thing?? :scared: Maybe after it cooled down it fused back to the board. :dopey: I don't wanna deal with the damn thing. I have my new kick ass desktop anyway. :)

Its not easy to balance out stable frames, while having nice looking graphics on. With a good balance of AA and AF.

101 Maximum FPS!! VERY IMPRESSIVE VIP!!
Can you take some screen shots of your "Advanced Computer Options" and your "Advanced Video Options" ?
I cant wait to get my new PC. You gotta get us a lot more pics. I still see some jagged lines in your last pic. Do you have your AA set to x4 or x6?? That will help a lot. :)

The last pic was for me to see if there was any change because I did and update. :)

Most def more pics! Maybe even vid!

I just tried online for the first time and all I gotta say is WOW... softshadows seemed to be faster than SS off then when I went online it was like everyone was litterally on Hyper crack!? :scared: They had to because I wasn't lagging... I had a lower Ping rate than them. (lower is better right?)

Thank you VIp. Those spec pics in post #263 are perfect and I will be looking forward to more pics. Also in this pic, did you do that to the guy or was he like that when you got there? I havent been able to blow people to pieces with a gun yet. Only grenades.
EDIT: Yes I believe lower ping rate is better.

 I believe that was my handy work. :sly: I think it was a grenade? :dopey:

If you can do that with a shot gun or some other gun please let me know. :dopey: If you figure out videos that would be perfect.

I reckon any AF does not do much to the graphics at all. But I was able to trick Fear into thinking I had full 8x while having a stable frame rate, with AF on like 4x or 6x.

Later on I will try a way to trick F.E.A.R into thinking, i am running 12x AA. While having a stable frame rate.

-----

New and improved screens, after these screens I upped the res to 1280x960.
