Why do you think ATi and NVidia say you will void your warrenty once you start the overclocking of your GPU. They would not say that just to scare people from Overclocking, they really mean it.

WTF? You are paranoid.

Of course they don't. So, you mean to say Sony have little micro-video recorders on the underside of all PS2s so they know you haven't cracked open your PS2 and mod-chipped it?

:lol: or flat Vid cameras on EVERY music cd so you don't copy the songs.
 
i use atitool to overclock my videocard. how the hell is ATi gonna know you've overclocked your card unless you burn it out or something. even then you can say something else caused the card to burn out. with my cpu i use the BIOS controls and mess with the FSB (semprons dont support multiplier tweaking). then i run prime95 for a few hours to make sure things are stable.

Heh. And even if they did log your overclocking, its not like they'd be able to start up the card and find out once its burnt out anyway. :lol:

:lol: true... oh well... I'm not gonna worry about it people. Thanks for the info though, I'll know what to do and what not to do the next time I have to buy a puter. :dopey:

I reckon any AF does not do much to the graphics at all. But I was able to trick Fear into thinking I had full 8x while having a stable frame rate, with AF on like 4x or 6x.

Later on I will try a way to trick F.E.A.R into thinking, i am running 12x AA. While having a stable frame rate.

After updating my vid drivers and a little overclock... I got this...

Expect lots of dust to fly, when people from GTP to play. Its funny when you cannot see people through the dust, either on the ground or below lol.
 
I know it sounds stupid, but I dunno what's going on with my mouse. I've tried everything and it seems like it's either too fast or it's not smooth. At the moment I have sensitivity a little bit up and smoothness off. I've also tried using the bare table top vs. an oversize mouse pad. I'm really having a hard time aiming and I don't know what it is. Granted I know I suck, so you can save your comments for you're self. :rolleyes: I just haven't been able to get comfortable with any setting so far. Thanks for your help.

BTW, here's what I'm using its wireless. The wireless part is not an issue because the reciever is 2 inches away.

edit: I did some Video card adjustment for viewing quality and some how FEAR is better using the mouse. :odd:

Yes we just got done playing online together. That was soooo much fun!!! I even got to blow a head off and an arm off online. :dopey:
The only bad part was I had to play in 640x480 otherwise it lagged. Thats ok though I will be getting a new PC soon so I can enjoy the game in 1280x1040
