GRT finally made it to Tsukuba after concerns over their lack of funding following a press release made public during the Apricot Hill testing week. Golden ran 50 laps in four stints today, making severe changes to the car after each stint. His best lap was the penultimate one of the final stint.
"The car felt great under braking all day, and I definitely felt I had control, however, in the first three stints, we had way too much understeer coming out of the turns. First, we tried drastically reducing the rear downforce, which helped a little, then we slowly loosened the rear suspension. Finally, we angled the rear tyres out, which caused some understeer in the braking zones. This set-up was a total compromise today, and I hope tomorrow we can get a better one together."
An interesting note is that GRT ran a 6-gear transmission today. It isn't clear if that is due to the low-speed corners at Tsukuba or because of their small budget.

(do I pm the lap time to Nitro or are the splits here enough?)
