Make TCS madatory?

Once all times have been submitted, are they going to be posted anywhere? I mean, it'll be nice to know what place we're in but also to know how much improvement we need would be good too.

I will tell you that I have found the easiest way to get through the AI right from the start is to immediately draft the car to your left, stay on the outside of the turn, brake late and as soon as you pass the third place car, dive to the inside of the turn and pass the two lead cars there. For some reason, they are always separated at that spot and the two lead cars always get into it pushing each other to the outside of the turn. Also, I would like to mention that when it comes to lapping the AI cars, it sucks. Is it just me or does it seem like no matter how well you are driving they always seem to be in the most inconvenient spot on the track to slow you down?

start with 3rd gear is the best way to pass every car at straght:)

Can I just check something. Is "Midnight EST on Sept. 18th" the beginning of 18/09/06 or the end of 18/09/06 if you get my meaning. :confused: (I take it to mean the former)
Sorry if it's obvious, but I don't want to make a schoolboy error in the first race :dopey:
 
well i just finished the race cleanly(finaly) its hard to put a good 12 lap run in in a car like that next week is La Sarthe so be ready

When will next week's challenge be over? I found out I won't have access to GT4 from Monday to Friday or early Saturday since I won't be home.
 
I thought Le Mans was a racing league, not a track.

If it's ok with Geo omlette can take my place, I just can't stand driving the Arcade mode FGT. I'd really feel more comfortable in taking part in a series with cars that suit me better. Sorr for the bummer guys.:guilty:

i took 2 laps at le mans today my fastest of them was a 3' 07.xxx not too bad i guess for only doin two laps

the car is so unstable at porsche cruves even with tcs!!!!!!!!!!!!it's hard to run a clean lap!!!:grumpy:

My fastest laps are in the 1'30 range. But consistency... well lets just say a 2 minute lap is not out of the question. Is that around what everyone else is getting?

I can't agree that different tyres wear at different rates on the F1 - I've tried several compunds and by the end of lap 6 (going "full bananas") I'm down to deep red no matter which tire I choose. Also, I find that whatever tyres I choose at the beginning of the race they revert to RMs at the pitstop (and are always indicated as such in the replay)...

Incidentally my fastest race lap is a 1'31.1xx

Yeah, I've got no problem with that. Sorry to see you go El Jarretto. But really, when it comes down to it, the only way to get to feeling comfortable is to just do it. I don't care if we lose as a team, I'm here to see where I stack up. Trust me, out of 16 guys, I'm not even expecting to be in the top ten.

Well I'll tell you that my fastest lap was 1:30.xxx in qualies, but due to tire conservation my average during the race (when not in the pits), was 1:35.xxx. But consistency is what you need. If you race a phoenomenal lap on lap and race like S#$% the next, it doesn't do you any good. Just keep practicing, you'll get it no problem.👍

my fastest lap are in the 1.28.1**,my average race lap is about 1.29-32:)
