Welcome omelettes! Get racing!!

I can't agree that different tyres wear at different rates on the F1 - I've tried several compunds and by the end of lap 6 (going "full bananas") I'm down to deep red no matter which tire I choose. Also, I find that whatever tyres I choose at the beginning of the race they revert to RMs at the pitstop (and are always indicated as such in the replay)...

Incidentally my fastest race lap is a 1'31.1xx

Yeah, just like GT mode, RM are the only tires the F1 runs on. Selecting different tires means absoulutly nothing. We are all running on RM's.

Fastest race lap 1'31.7xx. :nervous:

YIN
my fastest lap are in the 1.28.1**,my average race lap is about 1.29-32:)

Me thinks u have -10 weight on ur car....not possible to get 1:28.xx in a race, imo. I'm getting 1:30.8 or .9 on a really fast lap, not even in every race let alone a sub 1:29? hhmm......I ran with -10 weight and still only got a 1:29.7 at best, could manage a 1:29.5 which is now right where you are...dunno but maybe double check because even against the very fastest drivers here at GTP (Ho-Ho's etc) I'm at most 1.5 seconds back I'm NEVER 2.7 seconds back like I am against you YIN:
1:30.8xx - 1:28.1xx = 2.7 seconds AND your not a D1 driver? = Maybe dont have correct arcade mode settings? Just a lil' confused is all.

I'm d3 and my fastest lap so far is 1'32.506. I can probably get about .5 off of that because I got really conservative. That seems like a small gap compared to what it normally is between d1 and d3. This is a very fast race so I guess I am doing about what I should be.
This is the first time that I raced the f1 with my dfp I think so I am not really used to it. I also just moved up the difficulty level of the wheel so it is even harder.
Hasta luego

What is D1 and D3 and such? Is that like a national ranking or something?

Seeing as some of you find YIN's time suspcious i have come up with a way to protest someones time here it is

1. Send me a a PM at the completion of the race(the day after the deadline) and it must be berfore the completion of the next race weekend
2. in the pm state some sort of reason why the time should be protested
3. upon me reviewing the protest i shall ask the competior in question to submit a demo
4. i will review the demo
5.
A. the lap(or race is ligit) in wich case nothing will happen
B. the race(or lap) is not legit in which case the penalty will be severe it will include(but is not limited to) a -10 point peanalty and other peanalties i find nessacary
6. if someone makes an honest typo or ther mistake and lets me know before complation of the next race this will be considered a mistake and i will fix the error

Any questions?

I'm sure this won't happen to me since I'm quite slow, but what if we have no way of submitting a demo?

Dunno.....racefan?

OK Jump Ace, I see I have misunderstood your post, sorry about that, I will delete my above post now!

if you cant submit a demo we will work something out as far as proving to me you are racing fair

P.S. still save your demo becuase i will ask you for information from you demo

Is there a way to prove the weight used in a replay? If not, how is Yin going to prove it good or anybody else that gets questioned for that matter?

Maybe you should of went with -10 weight for this series. It does show the hp at begining but I don't see where weight is shown.

I have a Ar max but what good is it if its lacking info. The only way to tell is If somebody here thats got a fast rep. says it can be done. From what I've raced here, Im far from being up there with the fast guys and I'm not to awful far away from Yins qualifing time.

Just making sure your clear.. jump_ace. Yin did state his Race times are between 1'29.xxx and 1'32.xxx.

its simple to tell if he cheating look at how fast his car acclerates and its top speed if it has a high top speed and acclerates quickly hes obviously cheating

I read it as his fastest race lap was 1:28.1xx and usually runs 1:29 - 1:32. I just dont see how a 1:28 is possible in the least bit, but racefan is right we can see how he accelerates and for the record I did ask to have the weight at -10 to start :sly: o well.

Jerome

accel and top speed will because his top speed shows which gear setting he is using then il can see how fast the car accelerates the way it should be and compare it to his on that same gear setting

No, the 1'28 is not in the race time. His average race times are between 1'29-1'32, which is possible.

yes,i'm not d1 driver,i'm at the d2 class,which is lower class than you,but that doesn't mean everything.:)

Im really struggling here to get a clean 12 laps in, i've never been that great around this track with the really fast cars, I may have to settle for having a time with a couple spins and a 10 second penalty or two :(

1. GN+ have you won the 24hrs of the nurb.? if not you may need to win that
2. how do i watch .max files on my computor if not is there a way to convert it to something i can watch

east: I am in the same boat buddy

racefan: I think that anyone else who has a maxdrive or other device can watch it. I am not sure if it can be converted at all. There probably is but I dont know. I also dont have one and they dont play for me.

The only way to view it, is you have to have a AR max. You do have a video of Yins Qualify run.

Its really not right that Yin is forced to show proof in a comp where its not required. Yes, its all because of a missunderstanding in a post. We all went into this knowing it is'nt required.

I finally got a race with only one penalty and no other mishaps so I went with it for a lack of further frustration.

Very true, but there is another device that you can use to get your videos onto the computer. And with it, you can record as long as you want, including the settings menu, all the way to the race end if you'd like.

Correct me if I'm wrong Geo, But racerfan would still need to have a AR max to get the replay in his PS2, then make the video of it. I don't think the device can make a video of his replay on the PC.

If you didn't cheat then you didn't cheat, no worries then. Just appears that no one else is close to your race lap times of 1:29, just looks suspicious. And the reason why he needs to prove his time is because I'm not the only one who is asking, "how?" But I imagine if he proves this week, we prolly wont need to do anymore replay verification with him. And just to add, if YIN was a truly GREAT driver, he would have absolutely NO problem qualifying into Div 1 in the wrs like the other guys who are the best in the world. Hope all works out.
