Ah good, I'm at 30 right now so I'll take a look 👍

And ill get this one too. I'm a collector, you understand?
I get you

Most of these are either Brotherhood ones that I killed or ones I've found in the wild

I believe the items and enemies restock and re-spawn after 3-5 full in game days. Most Bethesda games have been like this for quite a few years. If you have dead bodies laying around, they will be full of loot again.

... which creates an opportunity for using mines for fun and profit. I place frag mines wherever bodies lie, and on paths used by patrolling guards. Then come back later after respawning, when popping off a couple of shots will stir the bad guys into walking over mines and you get to accumulate XPs and loot.

Doorways are great, and stairs.

Gunners Plaza is a great venue for this strategy.

If whatever faction you're in kills an enemy do you get points for it? I randomly accumulate XP throughout the day when I've done absolutely nothing but wander around, and it's not my partner either. From what I notice, it happens often when I hear shooting in the distance.

Ohh that is a good idea. Just be careful if you do this near AI NPC's that you don't want to kill. I would avoid doing that in your settlement or even areas similar to local diners that you visit on a regular basis with friendlies around. Could end up bad. Especially since settlers can be killed.

I am pretty sure the answer is yes. I joined the Brotherhood and I have noticed some of those faction members in the distance during dynamic events killing bandits and I get the exp while sitting back and watching the show.

I'm not in a faction, only Minutemen, and I've been getting these for ages. My first thought was turrets at settlements etc shooting the odd target but not necessarily under attack.

Hmm, that is another possibility. Not complaining, but just wondered what it was from all this time.

Found a place called the Mayoral bunker (somewhere south of Fort Hagen) and it's really creepy, especially with the lighting mods I've got on.

Would definately like to know as there could be loot lying around. Not complainig, just don't like the idea of some one grabbing all the loot.

Nope, whereabouts is it? I'm guessing it's a creepy place like the Duniwch Building in FO3? (Don't give anything away though)

Do you have the Idiot Savant perk? You will randomly get experience, and the lower your intelligence, the more likely it is that you will get it.

I found it, too.

Then I found the Deathclaw inside.

Then I found the loading screen.

No I dont, but doesn't that reward 3x experience randomly for an action with the chance being higher with lower Intellegence?

Am I the only one that just doesn't care or even use Power Armour? I mean, it's cool and all, but I like a challenge and the Power Armour makes things too easy.

I've got 50-something Fusion Cores, two X-01 suits and two BOS II suits then a roughed up T60 suit. And they just sit there unused.

I have 11 in total currently, and I don't use them ever  I don't really like the changes to the HUD when you get in one.

Yeah, it's like that place. It's on the Northeast part of the map, next to the Slog.

I don't either.

Same here, looked just now and found over 2000 Fusion cores stashed away , I'm not keen on the view either.

I tend to walk everywhere, and that just burns through fusion cores. I have two; one parked at Sanctuary Hills (where it has been from the start of the game) and painted in the Vault-Tec livery, and a bare frame that I recently found during "The Lost Patrol"; I am going to recover it later today. And I will probably get a third from the BOS when I return to the Pridwyn.

Speaking of "The Lost Patrol", I started it before I did "Reunions" and I only finished it afterwards - but I had to do "Shadow of Steel" as soon as the Pridwyn arrived. Now I can't finish "The Lost Patrol", because every time I try to talk to Paladin Danse, he only offers to be my companion. Have I encountered a glitch, or do I just need to speak to the key characters aboard the Pridwyn and complete that mission first?

Have to speak to the key characters on the Prydwen IIRC

Does anyone else play in 3rd person? It's the way I want to play though I tend to find the line of sight for weapons is pretty messed up. While it may look like I have a clean shot on someone it often hits an object between us (even though they can hit me...), and grenades practically come from the left edge of the screen, I've hit myself with a lot of Molotov Cocktails.
Is it possible to salvage power armour frames off fallen foes? I can only ever access the pieces but not the frame itself.

I have not changed my difficulty, however, when I went back to Corvega, the place was full of worse guys than the first time through, and the safe behind the "Keep Out" sign was restocked. It appears to me that they all respawn, so there is an infinite source of XPs and loot.

I think the Scavenger stations do this for you, whereas the regular water supply just keeps the settlers from getting unhappy due to thirst.

That's sweet they all respawn.
I found out after my post yesterday that the Water Purifier I have down by the river wasn't even turned on.:dunce: Even then though, after a few in game days I had no extra Purified Water and I have 3 scavenging stations. I'll keep an eye on it.

Yeah, I also realized that the Glowing One has an ability to resurrect it's allies.

I'd have to disagree, With 130~ damage, 300+ range, it works extremely well. It's actually my used weapon 80% of the time.

I found a new favorite weapon this weekend;

130 damage?! You must have a bunch of gun perks I do not yet, my best pipe pistol, which I actually just converted back to a rifle since I tend to aim down the sights a lot anyway, is something just under 30 damage.

My mistake, that is my pipe bolt action. Readin comprehension fail on my part lol. Regular pipe pistols are pretty bad actually.

I have like... 5 or 6 and I only use them for the Glowing Sea or hard enemies. I would wear combat armour but that doesn't go over a tuxedo, and I want to be classy as hell when I shoot Raiders in the nads

I don't understand why you can't :( I'd love to use my Baseball or Postman outfit with some post apocalyptic armor over it.

You can with a mod - I am :p

It does save a lot of time, when you switch out the base gear for speech checks or vendoring.
The armour parts stay, which also helps comparing when your going shopping

Although you do get clipping issues, especially with the dresses
