I take it you are talking about the Prydwen and the Airport (Brotherhood of Steel).
Correct. I can send people over there, but there is no way to supply food or radio beacons. Maybe Bethesda has plans for those with dlc.

It's by far one of my favorites and you will see why when you tackle it. I have big plans for that settlement down the road.
You have me intrigued about the Lighthouse mission. I will most likely tackle that tonight. :)

Popped in to see my settlers at County Crossing a few days after we'd repelled a heavy super mutant attack and they were all packing high speed shredding miniguns, each with around 200 rounds of ammo.
I've no idea where they procured the weapons because i didn't supply them.
At the same settlement a caravan was present, not particularly strange except the caravan guards were trying their best to look like Sean Connery in Zardoz. Leather chest pieces, leg pieces etc... but no undergarments.

Some of the bugs in this game are quite endearing.:D

From what I remember reading, I believe enemies just spawn within your settlements. It's probably a better bet to put the turrets closer to your important bits.

Based on my understanding, a recent patch "somewhat" addressed that situation. Most of the attacks that happen on my base are stopped at the tunnel entry points I created. The settlement at the sewage treatment plant has been an exception for me, so I did just what you said.

To me, its the most unique one yet (besides the obvious) and I plan on making it my primary one later on. Please let me know what you think of the location!

GRRR, those Suicider Mole Rats, just been killed twice in short succession by two of these. They have to be deadliest things around as there is no defence. They move faster underground than you and detonate as soon as they appear.

Suicide...molerats? Don't think I've ever encountered any of them? Is there a specific place they spawn?

Weird observation: every time I visit Hangman's Alley - and I visit it regularly - Piper is working at the cooking station. At one point, I left the game for a good twenty minutes, and she never left it; she just kept turning the handle of the spit.

Any where on the map basically.
I get sent to the USAF Satelite Array Olivia quite a lot and I find one there sometimes.

Finished this mission last night on Very Hard. Had a few tough challenges there. Such a beautiful location indeed. So glad you posted about this and even happier I was able to finally get that mission from the MM. :)

Nice. Besides the Lighthouse itself, I really like how the settlement has a boat dock. While we cant do nothing with the boat itself, I am going to try to incorporate that entire area eventually.

Stupid question: how do I stop NPCs from taking off with my power armour? I have everyone and everything set up at Hangman's Alley, including an absolute monster of an X-01, an Atom Cats and a Railroad design. But it seems that vertibirds fighting super mutants around the nearby reservoir are attracting my companions' attention, so they immediately jump into my power armour and take off to fight. I have read that if you remove the fusion core, it prevents NPCs from taking the armour, but my companions do it even when there are no fusion cores available. I am going to wire Hangman's Alley up with heavy machine gun turrets to prevent hostile NPCs from getting anywhere near my power armour, and I am going to send my companions to another settlement once I unlock their perks. But in the meantime, how do I keep my power armour safe?

@Paulie - did you say that you were doing something to prevent settlers from helping themselves to your weapons? If so, what was it, and will the same thing work for power armour pieces? (I don't mind if they take the frames; I can always buy another.)

I've never experienced this.
All the power suits I remove the fusion core, I have a gallery of 51 standing in power crafting frames, whether that makes the difference I don't know, so far no one has taken any.
Spare weapons and armour for selling or stripping I put in a steamer trunk and those have never been touched either.

I figured out what to do - I built an elevated platform in Hangman's Alley to store my power armour, then removed the stairs leading up to it. That way, if fighting breaks out, my toys are inaccessible.

I did the same as @SJC ALPHA and built a box to put all my other weapons in, settlers only have access to what's in the workshop. I have 3 boxes, one for my good gear, one for all the legendary stuff I'll probably never use but might sell, and one for all the useless weapons I'll scrap, sell or give to settlers as upgrades one day.
I've never had anyone grab my power armour frames either, I removed all the fusion cores.

I have ~15 suits, only one is in a crafting frame, none have been touched.

I swear, Preston jumped into my X-01 "Superheavy" right in front of me and it didn't have a fusion core in it. What was doubly annoying was that I had my T-51 "Rocksteady" parked right next to it, so if I tried to save one, I'd lose the other. And I had sunk a lot into both of them; Superheavy is all Mk. VI parts with lead coating, Tesla coils and explosive vents, while Rocksteady is is all Model F parts with jet pack and Railroad paint. I'm also pretty sure I saw an NPC running around in my T-45 "Vindicator" the other day, since it had the flames paint work.

I'll have to try that trick with the steamer trunk. I'm building one suit out of unique parts; I have the Piezonucleic torso and Tessa's Fist so far. I don't want that walking away.

Must say that I've never encountered an NPC using one of my PA's.
Not even the ones with the fusion cores still in them.

Unfortunately I did lose my complete X-01 PA due to Cait's companion mission, as I activated the last stage of the mission she showed up without the PA after running behind. :(
Went back looking for it but it just disappeared.

That was the last time I let a companion use a PA.

Anybody know where I can find some unique headgear? I have the commando helmet from Teegan, but already have gear that offers the sane bonus.

Also, check out the structure north-west of Mirkeater Construction Site. Just be prepared for anything when you open the door.

I could be wrong here but I believe Companions do not need Fusion Cores when using Power Armour.
I'm not sure why they're taking your Armour, my Settlement defences are very high, all well over a hundred, if this has any bearing on it, but I rarely provide armour to settlers as they don't seem to die as they are, again I could be wrong but I have not come across a dead settler in my settlements.
I too have spent a lot of time making the Power Armour, I think I have more or less made every type and mark and add ons and would be a bit miffed if the settlers just helped themselves.
Be interesting to see how you resolve it.

Sorry for double post, tried but couldn't edit it into above post.

Penny in Covenant sells the Destroyer's headgear which is part of Destroyer's armour, which I'm trying to collect, this headgear has 13 damage resistance, 13 energy resistance, +1 Charisma and +1 Intelligence.

I have no defences in Hangman's Alley. I keep my weapons, armour, chemistry and cooking stations there, plus a power armour bay. I use it because it is centrally located; it saves me from having to trek back to somewhere like Sanctuary. I also keep all of my companions there so that I know where they are.

The problem is that there is a street nearby that sees a lot of heavy fighting. It runs north from Chestnut Hillock Reservoir to a junction. It's close enough that the inactive companions will race out to fight anyone out there before returning to Hangman's Alley. And since I was keeping a suit of power armour there, they help themselves to it.

My solution was to build the Impossible Deck. I ran a flight of stairs up to the roof over the weapons station, then another one up to a deck that I built over the area (but only one staircase holds it up, making it the Impossible Deck). It's large enough to hold nearly a dozen power armour bays. Every time I leave the area, I remove the lower staircase so that the whole thing is inaccessible to NPCs.

I can't get it from her.

She's dead. I did the "Human Error" quest and the residents turned on me afterwards.

If you haven't done it, speak to Honest Dan.

Yes I missed this the first time, I was recently at Covenant with new character and saw the headgear but couldn't afford it. Just thought I'd mention it in seeing your post.
I found another piece for sale in Vault 81 which made me think the Destroyer's set is out there somewhere, in case there is a bonus for equiping it all. Only a guess it's how my mind works.

There's no bonus, but all of the parts have individual bonuses.

Personally, I like the Poisoner's gear; it comes with an automatic 25 points of poison resistance. If it's leather, it gets both ballistic and energy resistance, and the lead lining gives it radiation resistance. So I have the poisoner's chestpiece, plus armguards that boost my perception and agility and let my AP gauge fill faster. I also have leg gear that offsets the effect of incoming staggers and increase my movement speed. Plus, I have a Vault 111 suit (though I would like a Vault 75 jumpsuit, given what I had to go through there). All of it is lead-lined and made with the Tier 4 mods, so my total resistance for everything (except poison) is over 100.

Gotta mention, I've never had any NPC take my power armor yet either. I've never used any of my armor so they've just been collecting dust since the beginning of the game basically. I have about 15 of them and they've never budged an inch. They aren't in a hard to reach place either.

At one point did you assign any NPC to the armor?

There is a settlement in the Glowing Sea? Crazy!!
Yes, there is (although I don't think that was the point @EvanJamesLee was trying to make).
It's called the Crater of Atom, and it's home to the Children of Atom, a cult that worships the nuclear explosions. And it's not simply a settlement in the Glowing Sea - it's a settlement in the impact crater from the explosion you saw at the start of the game. Unlike other Children of Atom locations such as the Crater House near Salem, the residents of the Crater of Atom are not hostile).
In fact, there's a dozen locations within the Glowing Sea, although you can only enter a small handful of them.

At one point did you assign any NPC to the armor?
No, it was just parked in the power armour bay.
