Fanatec Clubsport Shifter

I, like thousands of others am desperately waiting for news of this release. I even contemplated not playing GT5 any more until the new shifter is available.
Would be the best X-mas present ever.

Call your self lucky that you even got a GT3 RS V2 with Clubsport pedals. I wanna order them since over 2 months, but i gotta wait til Jan to place my order...

Yah the shifter divides me. On one hand I can further modify my existing shifter. But on the other this could come out soon and any money spent modding it would be wasted.

I think it might be awhile before we see the shifter since we have heard nothing about it lately. They're done with the PWC which I think was taking all their time away from the CS Shifter and CS Handbrake since they said there was no way these things would come out before GT5. Even though they have more time to work on these products now I would not expect it anytime soon unfortunately.

IMO the gearbox model needs to be improved a little in GT for the H shifters. I haven't tried it in GT5 but from what I understand it is similar to GT5P.

Anyways, I too am looking forward to this shifter but I really really really want to see a shifter with FFB. Problem is that we will need the software for it too.

I eat my words. !! There's no way I can wait for the new CSS before I play again and it 's only been just under 24 hrs since I last played GT5.
It's a BIG "if" I complete GT5 (if that 's ever going to be possible with regular updates and DLC and so forth, by the time the CSS is available. I may delete all my GT5 save data to start over again.
The theory behind this being that once I get all my fav cars (Supercars) etc I doubt i'll be driving the lower class/level cars.
Just to go through driving all the cars again at all levels with the CSS.

The prototypes will be available this year. However, that means the production units won't be ready until mid to late 2011 at the very least.

Don't wait.

You can mod the stock Fanatec shifters to improve sound/feel/etc... Very easily...

Any word on the prototypes? pics, specs or people being needed to test?
