From the FANATEC forum regarding the latest base firmware update found in driver 467. Your rotary/funky switch issue is addressed.Last week the rotary function of the funky switch of my DD Extreme became erratic and I thought I was about to have another Fanatec problem... it was like it was missing 'clicks', so maybe to change TCS from 2 to 3 would take 8 clicks.
Whilst updating firmware I checked the switches function in the Fanatec software and it seemed to work perfectly registering every single click which I thought was really strange. I did a quick video and was going to post here to see if anyone else had the same issue but then yesterday I saw that it is now listed in the 'Known Issues'
Controllers
- On Fanatec® steering wheel controllers equipped with an encoder function, the encoder dial inputs do not work as intended.
I wondered if this problem is affecting all Extreme users, has anyone else noticed it?
