I'm refreshing the UPS tracking page approximately every 2 minutes waiting for that message lol! Mines scheduled for today, just need the delivery driver to get on the road ....

congrats, nice to see some UK ones are making their way through. Still pending for me but I pre-ordered after you so only fair ;)
 
@lunarwolf ... did you change your order? I originally pre-ordered a cs edition on Dec 4th but changed that to separates after Thomas popped up on this thread. Hope you get yours soon, even though it's only a month I've been waiting it feels like 6!

no, still cs edition; i didn't want to go to back of the line. Thomas said he would send partial orders of the CS edition. hopefully some news imminently since mid jan is almost upon us, otherwise will look elsewhere ;)
 
Not sure if this has been mentioned but because pre-order is for out of country......does anyone know if they charge your credit card when you pre-order or not until item is shipped, thx.

I was wondering if ANYONE who ordered the GT2 CS Edition has had theirs show as "delivered" or "shipped" or any status beyond pending. Anyone?
 
Did you place the order for the wheelstand separately? If so, just cancel it yourself by disputing the charge via paypal. If you can't get a hold of anyone to cancel it....what other option do you have really?
 
Kid Krinkle - did you use the message section on the main fanatec site to try and cancel the order? I've cancelled several orders and always had a refund the same/next day.

Two boxes just got dropped off at work, 2 1/2 hours until I rip them open...

Thanks for the responses guys. Actually someone on the Fanatec blog said that I needed to cancel by contacting webshop.usa@endor.ag and NOT through support. Even though I did not receive any items yet.

Just received conformation that they refunded the wheelstand to paypal account!

Ahhhh, right on. Glad to hear they got you sorted out. I assumed you did contact the webshop address. They were very good about refunding my order so I could re-order.

Hi everyone !!

I ordered GT2 CS Edition Dec. 22 but after what Thomas said I cancelled my order and re-ordered separately Jan. 7

Today I've received the invoice and my status shows "delivered". I live in Spain.

Right with you. Waiting patiently for Thomas to make good on his promises. I've decided I am not going to get my feathers ruffled until mid-Feb. However, I still don't understand how they are not shipping what they have available to CS edition orders...since I thought that was the way Fanatec was going to fix this. And if they are willing to split up the orders like that to clear the queue of CS edition backorders, why don't we who ordered first get our product before those making separate orders just recently?
Like I said, I will just wait and see. I am afraid if I attempt to move things around on my own, something bad will happen.

I am 99% sure why the spit or non clubsport packages are shipping is because the split packages do not get the shifter set. That's the hold up right now for everyone who ordered GT2 clubsport packages.

Someone correct me if I am wrong?

From what I've gathered you're right.

Thomas also originally said something about not having the ability to split the shipments of GT2CE into GT2 + CSP + shifter + paddles.

You have to remember that they are a pretty small company and I don't think their shipping process is designed for this kind of issue.

Although I'm pretty sure his last blog update said they would be shipping GT2 + CSP to some GT2CE orders, so maybe he got with his team and looked through the orders manually and figured it out.

Also Thomas being German doesn't help the communication, so I may be totally wrong.

I believe you can only dispute using PayPal if you paid through your bank account. If you used a credit card through PayPal you cannot use their dispute resolution process.

I think what Thomas said was that they are waiting a bit more to see if they can ship CS orders complete. If they cannot ship complete by end of January they will ship what is available at no extra cost. So they still have a couple weeks to attempt to ship everything. If those shifters did arrive in the US on Dec 31, they should be able to ship the CS orders complete by end of January.
 
I got multiple boxes on one tracking number. I believe 15lbs is the weight of the CSP box. But I still would wait and see because I don't believe the weight of my other box was listed.

And in case we cannot ship the Clubsport editions because the shifters or carbon shifter paddles are missing then we will make separate shipments with no extra cost.

So I've unpacked my wheel and pedals, fitted the Grey club sport pedal kit (looks sweet) and I'm now about to tape a bookshelf to my desk in order to actually clamp the wheel lol. People weren't joking when they said the clamp is a bit naff, doesn't agree with the lip on my desk.

Hoping the Rennsport ships soon, fiancee is already fretting over the absent bookshelf.
 
Well having said I wouldn't order another wheel I have :)

I've given up waiting for the GT3 V1-V2 upgrade kit and placed the order for a GT2 online last night!!

and got an email today saying .....

The order will be shipped now!!

So expect my G25 kit will now get sold along with the GT3V1 Wheel ..
