My beer choices are seasonal and also depends on if I'm having it with a meal.
In the spring/summer I prefer lighter lagers. So it's usually
Samual Adams and
Corona Extra. Sometimes I'll go with
Harp, if I'm having beer with beef or pork.
My taste for Corona comes from living in Florida for 10 years. Cut a wedge of lime, stick it in and sit on the beach. It's
all good. It's great with most seafood.
With fish or something more delicate, I often have wine. Usually a Chard from California.
In the fall/winter, I prefer much darker beers. My favorite all around fall beer is
Bass. It's good to drink on it's own and good with almost everything I eat. For drinking stand alone, I like
Guinness as well.
Sam Adams also does a seasonal brew like a cherry wheat ale that's very good.
For heavy meals like a steak, I drink red wine. Usually a Cab. Usually from California. Though I like many Washington State and Australian vineyards.

I love Killians too. It is the only American made beer that has the satisfaction of an import.
Have you tried Samual Adams? It drinks like an import, but isn't.
