No I didn't...and to clarify, Da Matta came to F1 from CART where he was champion for the 2002 season.

At the moment: DC He deserves a break. I think he's not only a good driver but also a nice person.
Of years past: Nigel Mansell. Good driver, hell of a lot of humour, gentleman both off or on the track.
Of all time: Juan Manual Fangio, you only have to listen to Sterling Moss talking about him to understand why.

My favourite current driver is Kimi although I would be equally happy if DC won. My favourite of all time is Senna.

Damn, Phil, haven't seen you on in dog's years!

My favourite driver? Mark Webber of course! Kimi isn't bad either.

Of all time? Probably Alan Jones from back in old fart times. Or Senna.

Of the current lot, JPM is my favourite, but Kimi is worming his way into my affections. Of all time, I think I would have to say Jean Alesi. I loved watching him, and cried when he won that one race in Canada.

I guess I love the chargers who live on their car control!

With some drivers you dont need a stopwatch to see there speed, spectating at Silverstone I remember Alesi and Jacques Villeneuve exiting the Abbey chicane and flat out into Bridge corner. Awesome!! Also in 1998 Schumacher in the wet was visibly faster than every other driver once again pure skill but Alesi and Villeneuve were the real sideways merchants.:)

Go to a GP and you'll know. ALL RED, man.

yeah, you shouldve been at Melbourne this year, Red everywhere with a splash of green...

Fave drivers: Michael, JPM, Mark Webber, Kimi and Fernado is creeping up there as well

looking at your pics it looks like you went the whole hog:)

did you guys drive the great ocean road or was it on a bus? (tis a great driving road for a motor head ;) )

great pics BTW 👍

My Uncle lent us an Echo. Was a surprising little car, not least because they cost around AU$20,000 in the UK, some 40% more than in Australia! It is a great driving road, but there were a lot of police. Saw a guy get pulled in a VX Commodore after he'd passed us once. He just passed us again straight away. I have to say I was expecting to round a corner and find him pointing my way, but he kept it on the island.

yeah, you sure can get some gumbies on the road at times, you should drive where i live!

Oh yeah i forgot2 people from the GP... Des Lim & Joe Racer (Kiwi)
If we had of know you where here you could've (if time permitted) joined our I-link session the next day

Ayrton Senna no doubt. The best driver in the rain in the history of F1 and in the top 3 of the all time bests along with Prost and Fangio.

I think the avatar says it all.. but I think Alonso is really doing good right now. Also Massa has good potential. And I have to say thumbs up to Mark Webber, he has been driving pretty damn good this year.
