I wouldn't call the F1 a classic yet. iconic yes. but classic no. classic in my option is 1980ish or older.

the older Ferraris are a blast as well as the Lamborghinis. the old Mercedes Benz the 500SL is up there as well.

A tuned Mini Marcos is such a sleeper as long as the circuit isn't high power based. It rips those corners right up.

Yes, overlooked in favour of the glamorous and expensive supercars . I think I've had more fun in the Mini Marcos than anything else in GT6, but as with all the lightweights it falls foul of PD's PP system.

I've been working on a racing Spitfire at around 470pp to take on the Midnight Racers (International B?) which is some of the best racing I've had against the AI, except when they bully me off the road .

I have always loved the Jaguar type-E and the Mercedes 300SL, but in GT6 I found driving the 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO at Brands Hatch big fun and it looks really good too. So this is my favourite for now:

I think it's one of the best looking cars ever made, and, while it isn't the fastest Ferrari ever, that's not the point - it handles excellently. Sadly, however, real-world values have skyrocketed to over £250,000, whereas about a decade ago, they were worth £30,000. So there's go my dream of ever owning one...

It's one of the cars that I drove the most when I used to play GT6.

Love this car. And the racing exhaust sounds savage. One of the few V8s that keep the V8 snarl with it. And it's freaking quick too once you spend some time tuning it.

And also glad to see some love for the underrated Mini Marcos. Here's mine, trying to look like a 60s Ferrari complete with Borranis:

Not an issue with the car as such (I love the Auto Union too), just PDI's blatant GT4 conversion is the problem.

One of my favourites was the Jensen Interceptor, which also disappeared between 5 and 6. My favourite classics at the moment are probably the Ferrari Daytona, it's such a lovely car to drive and the lunatic 288GTO.

I don´t have a European favorite, the brand is there but it doesn´t have a classic, my favorite is:

Pontiac GTO

It´s surprisingly quick in the 450 - 500PP range

and it´s one of the better sounding V8´s in the game.

I am ashamed to admit that up until about a week or two ago I had never driven the Alpine A110 15th Anniversary Edition that I've had in my garage since December 2013. I just figured it was an old, under powered car that I had no reason to be interested in. I couldn't have been more wrong. That car is so much fun. I spent hours just tearing around Trial Mountain Circuit. It helps to throw in a little tune, just to beef up the suspension and acceleration a bit, but it was even fun in it's stock mode. A great car. I could definitely imagine racing this baby against other A110's and having a blast.

30th post in this thread, and the first to even mention Ferrari 365 and 250 GT. What the hell, people!

250 GT is just a damn good looking car. Just looking at it on my driveway would make me think I've had a good life!
365 is unbelievably fast and agile for such an oldie. It looks fantastic as well.
