For me the Ferrari Dino, good handling for it's age, a bit like an Elise also it's been modelled extremely well.

The BMW 507, of course. Nothing beats that lovely V8 Bimmer.

It's one of the cars that I drove the most when I used to play GT6.

I fell in love with this car in the Goodwood Festival of Speed event.

I am going to go against the grain of a comment earlier. Mine is the Volvo 240 GLT from 1988.

I disagree about age defining a classic car. A car can be a classic if it is revered and remembered as though it is still in production. It doesn't have to be fast, it doesn't have to be a performance vehicle. It just has to have defined an era or a car class.

The McLaren F1 for me ticks this box perfectly. In the same way that the Veyron (original, not the newer revisions) should also be considered a European Classic. They will be remembered for years to come because they pushed the limits of production performance in the same way that the 240 GLT defined safety standards that all the cars on the road today have to obey.
