I try to keep myself out of a certain 'genre' of music, simply because it limits my horizons. I do find it extremely hard to enjoy Country, Pop(simply because they don't write their own songs, or perform their own instruments, which is why U2 is ok in my books)

The 'genre' I would say that I liked the most is of course Metal/Rock. Bands like System of a Down, Pearl Jam, Creed, and Puddle of Mudd keep me interested, although I haven't gotten a new CD in months.

I like some of almost everything. I'd consider my main genres though to be:

Reggae
Ska
Dub
Rap/Hip-Hop (Old school and underground only, not that Jay-Z and Ludacris crap.)
and Classic Rock
