Ran a 1:01.5 on a full tank some time after you left Immortal. I think I'm finally adapting to the wheel. I was just running consistent 1:02's with very good tire wear. I am definitely faster with the wheel but I'm much less consistent right now. I ran a controller for way too long!

Thats fast snafu is a very good driver.
Very good your time for the first wheel week.
Its always hard to learn with the wheel.
But its for sure faster.
Lets practise tomorrow more guys.
Yes when you drive long time DS3 its much harder when you switsch to wheel.

Aw, you said I could be your teammate if Tom left. ATI's veteran driver gets a switch to brother team ATR for junior status :grumpy: Ah well, welcome new team mate, expect yourself to be better than me, I can't seem to adapt to the F1's in my DFGT, even though I'm about a second faster and twice as consistent with my wheel in normal cars.

I know killa but its not fair when the drivers change team.
Only new drivers can join in teams that are free.

I cant see any proof of that , All the fast guys online and in seasonals or on wheels. I just cant find the time on a DS3 and acually im Faster in slower cars on a DS3. The time i raced Immortal in karts we where practically even.

I found this here wilso.

That here is a amazing price.
Its heavy cheap.
I have the same and the seat is the best.

That's why I said unless you're top 200 in the world with a wheel, those guys are the exception.

Karts are a bit different because they only have rear brakes, ds3 helps with the oversteer problems. I mean slow cars like a citron 2v where smoothness trumps all a wheel is definitely faster, but on fast cars it's always a bit more of a gamble to get on the power quickly because you might not be able to catch the oversteer quickly enough. With a ds3 it's just a flick of your thumb.

Just speaking for me personally, I used to be really damn good with the ds3 and had to relearn everything. Still learning, I have lightyears to go before I'm as good as I was with the controller.

Cool 👍 immortal but thats euros so add like $100 bucks
Did two 15 lap races at Madrid againt Red,snaf & aka won the 1st one just on the last lap from some spanish guy and nearly lost the second one to snaf who left 4 laps before the end . If snaf can start and run consistantly he should podium easily.Stayed out of trouble both 15 lappers and won em :D front tires where shot all to hell :(

Just took 20 laps best I can do is a 1:02:8 full fuel. Hate this track >:|

Need to find two seconds somehow while staying awake.

You are more than welcome to use Hard tyres :sly:

Believe me I'd love to but it isn't it a disadvantage? I don't need any more of those, my speed in the f1 is already 1 disadvantage too many lol

The only reason why is the degrees of rotation is just not right for an F1 car. I don't know why they can't just set it to 360 like every other F1 simulator but at 900 degrees it's just too much. It really takes a ton of getting used to for me. It's just not optimal.

I still will never use controllers again, I have no interest in that. I don't do this to play video games, I do this to simulate racing, and using a ds3 isn't simulating anything. Not to mention I just don't think it's enjoyable. Maybe I've been spoiled with a wheel for too long, but playing racing games with a controller is one of the most boring things I can think of doing with a PS3

When I heard DFPs have 200 degree modes, I felt jealous. It's ridiculous how I have to turn the wheel from lock to lock just to prevent oversteer, yet it's still too much to do in split seconds and I just end up spinning out my car. I guess it's part of racing with a DFGT, I have to adapt, but it's not going to be easy.

Weird, I'm still two seconds off my fastest times set with a ds3 set before I got the dfgt, no slouch with a wheel either.

Unless you're top 200 in the world with a wheel I stand by the opinion a ds3 is almost always faster with high pp cars.

Nope, just F1s and X1s. It only has to do with the degrees of rotation being too much. In an F1 you obviously need to be able to corner immediately, and having 900 degrees of rotation is just not responsive enough.

The next highest PP cars are LMPs, and wheels are unquestionably faster driving LMPs.

Like I said, it's just F1s and X1s, not just "higher PP cars"

Internet crapped out on me at the vital point. Sorry to guys I was in a room with last night.

When we get enough drivers today we can drive a 70 laps practise race today.

What time is practice? I need it!

I think in 5or 6 hours race start then.
When all Guys are there.

Next time then. I'm sort of free for the next 5 hours, but busy after that.

Hey boys, i have done a new logo for the Team and Drivers line up, lemme know what you think.:

Well not just the DFGT, any wheel that doesn't allow you to switch the degrees of rotation. So like you said, the DFP allows for 200 degree, which would be ok for the F1, and I know Fanatec wheels let you adjust all kinds of things right on the wheel. I'd love one of those because there are some games on PS3 that have less than perfect FFB, and all the spring, damper, etc. would really come in handy.

Plus with GT5, adjust degrees of rotation would really help with the F1s for me. It's just tough to acclimate to such loose steering on a car you need it to be ultra fast.

Thats the best design that i have see on the whole GTP.
You are the best m8.
Well done.
Like your name.
Can you make also a design like this with our Race Calendar then our OP is the best.

I open in 10 mins the practise lobby.
Then we can see how many drivers we are.
Maybe we can start in one hour the Q.

I think the DFGT can select a degrees of steering level when hooked up to a PC. I seem to remember that option in the setup menu when I got my new one, and when I tried rFactor.

Alright guys, don't be like this boy and we'll get along fine.

HHAHA that's hilarious. He does all that, then beeps at you when you get by him.

yes that's true, it can but that doesn't help us here, we're on ps3 for this so unless you're using a jailbroke PS3, I don't think it's possible to run the logitech software on ps3 so we're just going to have to deal with it

Great 70 Lap practise race.
That was very good practise also for the pit strategy.

Racing is a special sport a Colt's fan and a Pat's fan can bond over :)

(BTW preseason starts in like a month, crazy right!)
