@No_bull. Yes, that was a LIVE race broadcasted on Twitch.tv. Also it would be great to make a video of a full or nearly full race, and have a commentator or two. I could do this perhaps but Im not much of an editor. Prefer live streaming.

@Immortal. I could make a highlight video. Never done one before tho so it might be crap. Also I might not catch all the race action. Would have to sift through the race then record etc. toolo4sno would do a much better job than I could ever do at editing.

@everyone. Well if the PSN is down on Thursday how would you feel about a practice race tonight or one on Friday? And on my DFGT I run ffb on 1. It's so easy I could cry. No pain whatsoever after driving a 2 hour race or a long race in F1 cars. Guys have you ever tried pulling the power from the back of the wheel? You get no ffb at all and it feels like a kids ride at the supermarket. However driving a car can feel abit strange with no ffb.

I'd say have the practice now, because on Friday I have ALMS and I can't do any 60 lap practices by myself...

@nofxmike. well I all the teams are full this season (if you are looking to join the league) but we are trying to find a solution for the 16 player limit hopefully next season we will have it ironed out. But, for this season u can join us on sundays and practice through the week IMMORTAL will probably put you down as a geust driver.

@gaz. thats pretty cool I still havent watched I dont have adobe but its kewl that u live stream it

@IMMORTAL. I'd like to do the practice race today if u cant do it im sure one of the stewarts could

What does this do? In other words, what effect does it have?
 
I heard from reventon a couple weeks back that the new T500 wheel decreases lap time by 0.5 sec. over the DFGT. If this is true that makes me sad. :(

Anyways immortal, I can race quite yet but I'm game coming up in the next couple months. Of course if Gran Theft Auto 5 is released I'll be a bit distracted. ;)

Oh and I want GT 6 to make a hat fall off my head. :)

At just over $500 that's 100 bucks for every tenth... sounds like a great deal... 👎

BTW I love how they clarified what the hat comment meant.

Edit: If anyone is interested here's this weekend's race from rFactor F1 Championship round 7 Hungary.

Well Formula One teams spend millions to find tenths-seconds! That's basically how much it costs to us as it does to them. :rolleyes:

Ok I think I understand what you were saying before...

1) Set "Top Speed" slider to 230 (I assume this is max, not with my PS3 right now).

2) Then final gear all the way to the left (Which would be max speed final gear).

3) Then put all gears 1-7 to the far right (Which should reduce the speed for each gear)

But the part I'm confused about is

Step 4) "adjust with topspeed 224 for fugi".

Doesn't adjusting top speed slider reset all previous ratio changes which would erase any changes made in step 3? I've made the mistake of finding ratios I've liked and accidentally moved the top speed slider and it reset them all.

Edit: Do you mean for step 1 start with 224 instead of 230?

@Gian. well thats not good

@everyone. guys if you can't make the prac race u will have to do some long run practice laps if u can last 20 laps it is a 2 stopper and if by the time u get to lap 20 ur fuel is less then half tank and in between 1/4 and half put 20 liters in it and u should be good till the last stop in which the game will automatically give you the right amount to make it to the end. but, just in case put one more liter than it suggests

I just signed on to the PSN, @17H30 BST. I looked at the website and it seems only the following services are undergoing maintenance:

PlayStation Network is offline for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 on Thursday 26th July 2012 until 08:00 on Friday 27th July 2012, BST.
During the maintenance, you will be unable to access the following services:
PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP and PS Vita.
PlayStation Network Account Management.
PlayStation Network Account Registration.


FYI - i am not signing out to test it :D and screw the trees etc
