Haven't managed to hook up with another F430 on track yet... Very different beast to drive around Suzuka after running around in either the Clio, WRX or NSX the last few days. My lap times in the F430 are a far cry from the 2:04/2:05 timezone with those cars, so far I've managed a 2:07.967 out of the Ferrari. Hope to catch someone on track soon
TORC_PH and I just had the first F430 race and I got my ass seriously whipped. You'd have thought I was racing a ferrari beach buggy the number of times I was in the sand. The best part of the race was lapping a Clio (albeit a very poorly driven one).
Were you running S3's or R1's in that race Animera? I've been having all sorts of trouble keeping this car on track as I'm sure you noticed a few spins! I'm running an R1 tyred set-up at present. I think this could turn out to be quite fun once we get a few more F430's on track
Sorry for sitting that last race out guys, after recovering from being punted into the sand at turn 1 by the Clio my 2 year old son seemed content to keep pushing buttons on my G25 which made it impossible to continue... I'll be back
Always great to race against you Animera, very easy to drive close to the limit when you can trust the guys in front / beside / behind you.
Pushed hard in our last race desperate to break into the 2:06's but only managed a 2:07.474. Close but no cigar! The F430 is much harder to push to its limits thats for sure the "regular" 650PP cars are much easier to drive. I will be having more fun in the Ferrari yet, thats a given 👍
I might pop in and race this tonight. Im feeling the same as Grim at the minute. In no state to be looking at a TV screen with my head To much concentration needed.
I managed to pick up two penalties in that one, the first lapping the Amuse in the esses, I completely missed the apex and then, Fair Play deployed a smoke screen after passing me and I couldn't see jack. 👍👍👍
