Hi all, I have recently been raking in the bucks from the la festa cavallino seasonal event and am approaching 20 mil. Which 20 mil car should I buy? (I am looking for high performance)

Not the jag, too much oversteer and you can win it fr the from the Indy 500 a spec. Just bought the Ferrari myself. It's pretty good. Very light and powerful with lots of grip if tuned correctlyp

Double post :indiff:

Answering the question: I'd personally go for the Ford. I have all 3 (traded the Ferrari, A-Spec Indy 500 for the Jag, and bought the Ford) and the Ferrari is a bit easier to control than the Jag, but is worse than the Ford. The Ford is easy to handle, when it oversteers, it is easy to correct it. Off the line isn't that great, but it keeps you from spinning the wheels too much. It has 4 gears :scared: but has very good handling. :)

Thanks. I have to say that my personal choice would be the ford as well; however I have never heard that it has 4 gears. Good to know. But in the end, I would have to agree based on what i've heard.

Personally, I would take the Ferrari for its elegant style and for being one of my favorite car companies :D But the Ford Mark IV just ruins it and basically every way: Sound, sheer power, and more that comes forth. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has only 4 gears (already mentioned). The Jaguar can be easily earned from the A-Spec Indy 500 if you're willing to do +2 hours of oval racing, so there's no debate towards that.

At 20,000,000, (in my opinion) you aren't really going for performance anymore, getting to that point generally means that you are at the top, and you are driving for fun and photomode... However, they are performance cars, but, other than the priceless enjoyment that you get from the cars, chances are, you won't profit from racing these cars

The Ford looks better IMO. And it also sounds great. The enjoyment is also great, as the Ferrari's interior looks a bit, pixelated :indiff: I got the Ferrari in a trade back then without the trade limits, so I didn't waste any money with it. The Ford I bought, worth every penny. :sly:

All three are basically the same, but the Jaguar has excellent handling compared to others, the Ford leans more towards the engines noise and style IMO, the Ferrari...er..

I bought the Jaguar just for Photomode, and now I learn I could have saved 20 millions credits racing at Indy!

Or, you could just get a 1967 ticket for the Ford or the Ferrari.

I have bought all 3 and I have voted for Jaguar.
- Jaguar's the fastest out of the trio
- Jaguar has the best interior view
- Jaguar has the best sound
- Jaguar has the best handling

Both Ford and Ferrari are nothing special in my oppinion (Ford has great sound which you can't hear unless you're driving from 3rd person camera).

Some of the sounds are pretty good, yet not loud enough, plus other players hear a different sound to what you hear.

Personally I commend the Ford Mk-IV race car as it bears a slight resemblance to the obsolete Ford GT race car(Especially its rattling sound and the headlights), which is my most favoured car in my opinion... The Jaguar XJ-13 owns too much oversteer making it a little bit harder to manage in every approach to the turnings, however it's worth trying out if you'd like to have a different taste of one modified racing car in the late 60's... Unless you're enthusiastic over Ferrari machines.

I have the Ferrari and the Jaguar (normal and Chromeline), still couldn't get the Ford but desperately want it. The Ferrari sounds really bad and is not that special from it's handling. The Jaguar is fun, the cockpit is awesome and it sounds okayish. but it kinda lacks that "oomph".

Mk IV. Just bought it myself, and cleaning house with it. The Ferrari is fun too, but not quite as balanced for me. Jag would be 3rd pick for me.

The Jaguar has the most planted rear end, but the Ferrari is the lightest by far. The three cars have similar power and downforce, and as result the Ferrari gets the best acceleration and lateral grip (when the back tires don't break loose). The Ferrari also has the flatest power curve. It's P4 all the way as far as performance goes.

This is how I see it.

Ferrari:

Pros: Best cornering, most nimble, highest revving
Cons: A bit wild with such little weight, fat back end, vacuum sound :yuck:

Ford:

Pros: Highest PP (on mine anyway), has stripes, epic sound
Cons: ...none really. I mean, it's the heaviest, but by 2 kilos. Come on. I don't mind the 4 speed gearbox myself.

Jaguar:

Pros: Available for free (twice!), more easily obtainable even without those ways ('66 ticket), most power
Cons: Lowest PP (on my save), eery sound, free obtaining takes a bit of time.
