my current LSD setting is 10/35/25 try this out and see if it helps , if your finding your self drifting practacly or really working the throttle to get out of a corner to ovid spinning your wheels try this top-bottom btw 30/25/25. and with the F10 id run a decel/braking sensitivity of 20-35 should reduce the chances of spinning out late into a corner.

I am not running the thing, but it shouldn't be a problem. Races are Sundays with Practice starting at 6:30 GMT. You can drive either car, but you'll have to stay with that choice. Also keep in mind that there are restrictions sometimes on the F2007. They are trying to iron that out. I'll add you to the spreadsheet (and any other late arrivals) when you've completed a race. Technically we've reached over 16 people signed up, but realistically we only get 40% of those signed up on any given Sunday (plus some stragglers). If you can't make every race there is a stat for points per race and other season stats. It's possible that we'll run races in private lobbies, but that past few have been open rooms. If we run private lobby then you'll have to friend PSN: Mustardaddict. Read up on the first post for rules/regs and further general info.

Yeah The Hog, you can enter. :sly: Races are on Sundays, at 6.15 GMT (warm up is 45 minutes). You qualify at 7 PM GMT and race a little later. Races are 50 minutes long. Typically we get 9 who show up out of 22 or something like that signed. I dont know what the deal is, its been like that in all the leagues I've done. Please show. :scared:

Yea a lot of the league races are a bit hitty missy with the amount of drivers who show up but I will be there.
I will be using the F2007 as I cant get used to the what I think is the bottoming out issue with the F10.
I still have to buy the F2007 so I had better get saving lol, I have 6500,000 of the 12500,000 I need, So I should be able to buy it tomorrow and that will give me 4 days to practice for the race.
Would any one like to share what lap times they are getting on Sundays track ?.

Well that's my weekend sorted, Touring Cars on saturday and Formula 1 on sunday....NICE!!! lol.

In the F2007 you'll use mediums, F10 softs. The F2007 is a bit quicker at the GP/F even with that tire reg. 1:30.5 is a real good time. 1:29 in the F10 without runoffs or cutting is getting freakish.

I meant booted by the server. Or maybe he left on his own? Basically I was trying to determine if I should "delete" the race start for him (and maybe golfer too); so their Points Per Race don't take a hit.

That's ok I hate racing soft tyres, so much so that the championship that I host all have the racing soft tyres banned from use.
I find on most cars that the racing softs over heat to easy were as the mediums still over heat just not as easy.
Depending on the tyre wear I more than likely be using racing hards for the race.
I am on 10 million now so 2 more dream car championships and I will have my F1 car.
Its A shame PSN is down I could have added some of the guys and seen if I could get some practice in with them.

Forgive me if this is already posted and I just have not seen it, but what laps are we looking at for Sundays race ?.
 
OK guys, I've decided that I'm going to be a guest driver and appear at races trascks I would like to race on. I'll tell you before hand which these tracks are

I'll set it at 35 laps. 1 pitstop will be necessary. Winner should be there in about 54 minutes or so, so you know what to expect speed wise.

All that we ask is lapped cars move over and concede to lead lappers. :)

I'll add the new people to the main list on the first post.

I always move for people lapping me any way, usually if some one is lapping you its for a good reason there LOT faster than you LOL, so makes no sense trying to race them as you will just end up costing your self time.

I am on my last dream car champ grind and I will have the cash I need to get my F1 car.:)
I am starting to really look forward to this roll on sunday.

No no, i had to quit Monaco because my parents were having a go at me for not coming downstairs when they called me. So I quit the game, go downstairs, have a right 🤬 then they ask 'what do you want from the Chinese?' :grumpy:

Fingers crossed the next race will go without any problems!

o crap PSN still down what a pain in the arse, I just got my F1 car at like 11pm last night and was hoping to get online and get some practice in.
 
Is it back now? I havent tried to log on yet today.
 
its till down. Read somehwere that when Amazon's servers went down everything became free so they shut down PSN so no-one could take advantage. I'm sceptical of that but at leas it would be an plausible solution if Sony use Amazon billing software for the payments. Also, Sony would want to keep that a secret.

I suggest upping the laps to 60, which is what the fia uses for the the German GP, when it is held in Nurburgring (just to be consistant with f1). Also on turn four or five there is some runnoff room is that legal, par the rules set out here? I think the fia considers it part of the track.

Here is Raikkonen's 2007 pole position lap, the part I am talking about is at 35 seconds into the video. You can clearly see all 4 tires are over the line.

over the line for sure because after the kerb it leads you to that line.

Yeah, this downed network is killing me.

Luckily I have work on my own car to do (winter to summer gear). Don't you just envy the mechanics in GT games. Over at one shop I get an instantaneous oil change and a car wash. I drive on over to the aftermarket parts shop and just like that they swap out my suspension. I suppose you get what you pretend pay for.
 
What about qualifiying, I know you said that there will be practice session before hand. My question is, since we cannot alter fuel loads for qualifiying, do we have to start with a full amount of fuel? Or is it okay to burn it off during practice to lighten it up?
 
No Fuel doesnt make much diff in Gran Turismo. I think it makes like 3/10ths of a second from a full tank to empty or something minuscule like that. Its not like in F1 2010 where your 2 seconds off on a full tank. But that game drives like Mario Kart, lol.

If the Network is still down we'll post-pone it I guess. I may move onto the next scheduled race next week, then run Nurburgring GP/F at the end of the season instead of as race III.

Sony claimed 2 days I think, but its been 72 hours atleast now.
 
I really hope its all back on by tomorrow.
I have done some practice but I think its going to take some time to get used to the F2007 or the F10.
The problem is I have done nothing but drive the FGT for quite a while now and I am finding it hard to get used to how fast and hard I can push the F2007 &F10 through the corners compared to the FGT, I always walk on egg shells in the corners like I am driving the FGT.
But I should be able to get used to it as soon as I can get it online.

It'll get re-scheduled if the network isnt up. I suspect the Japanese run on the same work hours as the USA. Which means they havent started yet, they will on Mon. morning and finish sometime on Tues. I'm assuming its a 12 hour fix with 9 hours of sleep in between.

But why lie and say the Network will be up in 2 days, lol. It just P.O's customers. If they told the truth it would probably help.
 
How about just doing it on Wednesday night, if it is not up by tomorrow morning? Rather then postponing it till the end of the season, as I have tested for Nurb. That should give enough time to test for Fuji.
