Hey there fellow virtual racers, first post from me.

Doing alot of A-spec racing, but ive just started on B-spec here, so that of course gives me some time to sign up here, and join in on the fun!

Q: so i have noticed in B-spec, the hot/cold bar, if it gets hot he drives faster but makes more mistakes, if hes colder he drives slower but alot more steady.
However, does this also affect his stamina(physical strenght)? I have been unable to determine this myself.

I noticed something also. I was losing 3 times in a row in a race, which made my driver a sad panda, with the downwards arrow. So i gave him some rest, then won a few races, and he got the upwards blue arrow. So i tried the race which i lost 3 times in a row again, and my driver demolished the same cars he lost to, with 10 seconds to spare. Same car. He might have gained 1 level.
Any thoughts on this? Is there really such a huge difference between the green right-pointing arrow, and the upwards arrow? Or will 1 level make such a significant difference? (12 to 13)

Also a few things im missing:
Save between races in championships.
Race the same track again without having to exit and re-enter(faster money).

Finishing comments: this game is just awesome! Sadly i missed out on the GT4 fun, but i played 1, 2 and 3(probably my most played game ever, sofar), concept 2002 and GT5P. Got myself a G25 for GT5P, and now im loving every second of playing GT5, as i knew i would :-) Hell of an experience.

Noticed something else. Does it seem like, if you issue orders quickly 1 after another, strenght depletes more quickly? Seems to me i get the fastest laps and total race time by keeping my guy between middle and 100% hot, by using increase pace when he gets closer to middle. Using "keep pace" quickly all the time seems to drain strenght faster?

My guy is 22 or 23, and it's gotten easier to push him into the red with hardly any mistakes. If I'm forced to use similar cars as the other AI (NASCAR championship, for example), I tend to keep him pushing between 75 ~100% for the duration of the race, to face less risk of being passed. Tracks like Daytona Speedway are a series of Push, Push, Push with a sprinkle Overtake.

If I'm able to use an FGT against AI with lesser cars, I start the race and walk away.

If his mood is up or down, I make him race anyway. Probably not the best way to go about things, but it has worked for me.
