15 minutes later re time series runs each Monday.
And also running 2 rooms of 11 for qualy with fastest 14 Race in room 1 - the rest in Race room 2

Moved 15 minutes later
qualy time start to 18.30 uk time
race start time to 19.15 uk time


Normal time trial qualy in 2 rooms - 11 drivers per room
Stewards then calculate all the drivers lap times set.
The 14 fastest lap times set will race in Race Room 1 with Race points awarded from 32pts down to 19pts
From 15th fastest downward will race in Race Room 2 with Race points awarded from 18pts down to 5pts

We would love to please everyone, but just can't i am afraid, we try to gauge all drivers feelings on things and react in a way that smooths out driver issues as much as possible.

Can all drivers please report with a thead post " IN "
for Mondays compulsory Official Test race 1 at Rome.

BTW i just want to tell all drivers that stewards will be extremely determined in punishing drivers that overdriving their damaged cars will put other drivers at risk. So if you break a suspension on your car or worse drive it as safe as you can and if it isn't safe enough ghost it until you'll reach the boxes.
 
Im in tomorrow.

On the damage part, if i damage a suspension i will be carrying on until the pit stop. To much time lost for a pit stop that isn't needed.

Edit - Sometimes a knock to the other wheel helps out a treat lol

Hi Karsten, i am pretty sure there will be 20 tomorrow.
I know 2 are not in but all the rest have told me with the last 7 days that they gave other commitments until the first test race so i expect them to be there.
I have sent them psn messages and pm here, so i think if it is ok with you wait until tomorrow luchtime.

I will post the drivers brief and you can post the list that tells drivers which time trial Qualy room.

I agree also, there are many little damage bumps that you can still drive the car fine,
however if drivers drive the car that is clearly dangerous and are all over the track , i am sure they will pit as they will loose too much time otherwise.
 
Just noticed running though names , that I have not heard from sportchip for a while and it looks like he has not been on this thread at all ? And I am not sure if he has trained at Rome with us either ?

Test Race 1 Drivers Briefing.

Please be sure you look here at the post for info
Drivers to enter designated Room 1 or 2 for time trial qualification.

Rooms should be open in the club room by 18:00 UK latest.

Time trial Qualy will start in both rooms at exactly 18:30 UK time and run for 6 minutes duration.
Any drivers enter after 18:30 start from back of the race grid with no time posted.
Please all drivers stay in these rooms - until called by stewards to enter prepared race rooms 1 or 2
Also you should check your psn message inbox as we may indicate you race room there.

Once the Race rooms are prepared and you have been told which race room to enter please then go to that room.
There will be free practice the race room untils 19:05 uk when the rooms will be reset.

Once the room has been reset please enter the pit box but do not move from it

The host steward will then message and call out the drivers one by one in order of qualification time to park up
along the track in the order called. Please stay in this postion. DO NOT MOVE

The host steward will start the race and the safety car pace lap will come into effect.
around Sectors 1 and 2 at around 70 MPH and Sector 3 50 MPH
Ensure you all keep a safe but close distance to the car in front

If any driver sees any lag after sector 2 please message SC
The lead car will then message OK and this will then mean we run to a repeat 2nd pace lap

Drivers can only pit at the end of the 1st Safety car lap if they have received damage from a LAG caused accident - any driver taking unfair advantage of this will be penalised.


Please ensure you drive clean and fair
it is the responsibility of the overtaking car to ensure there is no contact.
Cars being driven in a way that causes contact while being overtaken will be penalised.
Stewards will penalise any bad or unfair driving.

If you sustain damage during the race it is your responsability to ensure you dont hinder or cause other cars problems.
Badly damaged cars may need to hit the message button to ghost their cars back to the pits if they are so undrivable and they are likely to cause contacts with other cars.


Pit Entry and exit
Also when entering the pits keep hard over to the right so the following driver is clear of your intentions.

Exiting the pits it is also very important to keep inside the white line into turn 1.

We had massive network problems yesterday in the races, just a heads up that pepole might want to clear the cache and get here early to make sure you can get in the room. Hopefully PD sorted there life out today and it won't be an issue.
