i asked you the settings ? if its dry to start, with the changability on fixed the track never gets wet

Does any of you have an idea what a good lap around brands is? Im doing 1.23

Highlighted the wrong part. Surface water will be 0% in qualy and will stay so.
 
I'm sorry if I missed it somewhere, I went back a few pages and couldn't see a reference; but when did we change from having 20+ drivers signed up, now it seems limited to 16? I don't mind, obviously I'm still on the signed up list, but just curious. What happened? Have you guys now capped it at 16 completely?

Too many AWOL drivers, and number never went were we expected (we thought to get between 24 and 28)... So i guess it's better for our abituals to race like this.

Yes pubs, the problem was really as karsten says the awol drivers.
There would have been a lot of extra work for us , and it would have been worth it and great had there been 2 full rooms, ie 32 drivers.

We had our regular guys from last series who are always keen and always training with us.

But a lot of the new guys that promised to show up didn't even though they promised they would and after i had sent them many many pm and psn messages to remind them.

Also after the mess up we had with connections/server lag at Rome, just imagine all that with 2 rooms, would have been awful.

We decided that we had 16 keen guys - with you and Karl who were absent, and that really just made it natural to say why all the extra bother when the awols are not interested,

We had Gtrules who just scraped in as i psn meassaged him 2 minutes before the race started.

I am sad that sportchip who was very keen but has not been seen or heard of for a month.

and really sad that Guevens internet server/connection/lag/issue has caused him.

All the 16 guys we have in are all keen , all practice , and all post here and thats what we wanted really, all keen guys.

I was thinking that might've been the case, definitely a lot more work for you guys. It's a fine decision I think and better for everybody who really wants to be here, I'm glad I made the cut even with my absenteeism, thanks :).
Shame about Gueven of course definitely, I enjoyed racing with him as well as Sportchip, having a few moments with him back end of last season when I joined. But hey, with you FGTA GT300 veterens and all the new guys including myself, will be quite a tight bunch after a few rounds, it'll be good ;).

Being consistent and not crashing is almost and in not more important than making mistakes and crashing.
Cant wait until Monday, we will have a full house start on time, have a great race and at the end all post what a great series its gonna be.

going to a great season , thanks for letting me join , thought I was going to get rejected after first brands trial
 
I'm sure that it'll be a great season! I'm a bit saddened that many drivers that were on my pace are gone lol

opened a room for some brands hatch training. In club as always.
 
I will be when I get back from gym need to do lots of testing ha catch up
 
i fear i'll be gone when you guys join lol :P I might be back after dinner if you'll still be there...
 
Some drivers asked for some more social events and i actually think it's not a bad idea to cool down after a race, have some carefree races and such.

I have a nice idea on my mind, but before i bring it out i'm asking; how many of you guys would want to stay and have some "social racing" after the monday one? Or would you guys wish for another day of the week for it?

I am not sure what you mean " Social races "
 
An example?

GT3 Cars, untuned, racing hards, 5 laps race, no aids beside abs, boost on low or medium. Grid to be random.

Just hop in and have fun. No qualys, no training just sheer on the moment enjoyment.

mmmm ok, well not my thing to be honest, i would rather concentrate on trying to be faster in our series,
but if others are up for it then i wont be a party pooper.
Maybe we could put together a weekly fun social series then.
not sure what day as i bet some never seem to enough time to train as it is.
One week we can race ice
another dirt
another go karts
short races ?

Quick question now we ard going to 16 drivers only. Will qualifying go back to the same room as the race?

the reason is if we keep it as a time trial, it means we can mix up the conditions, ie on Monday we have a dry track but fixed at 0% wet track for time trial qualy and the race will start out dry track but will rain and get wet rechangable conditions for the race.
i agree we will have to make a new room after time trial as you cant change the room to endurance race if its in time trial settings.
but there will only be 1 room for TT Q and 1 room for the race.

Also yes i will be on tonight.

in fact i have just opened a room, but wont be on track for 30 minutes.
 
Ok Guys, important update...... breaking news.
Gueven has changed his network provider and is now on a higher transmission rate.

This is great news and i wish we had some way to test this with 16 cars before Monday.

Currently Gtrules had taken over Guevebs place, however if Gueven has gone to all this touble to ensure he has a better and faster connection, along with the fact that he is a regular, and a great trainer, i want to somehow try and see if we can test him out, ideally before Monday.
