Check this out! Someone like this should not be on a live Event!!
There are many more Austrian are better then this :banghead:

There are going to be drivers with lower DR in future events looking at how VW qualified for Manufacturers and the Oceania Regionals maybe. Also, the 40-60k DR bracket in my experience is very similar. Reasonably quick, but inconsistent across the different tracks and car groups. He might specialise in road cars for all we know, and expect quite a few of them this weekend.

Ultimately, a lot of the 'better' Austrian drivers didn't concentrate on FIA and instead stuck to their own league events. Of course they couldn't have known this event would come up, but I find it strange why people were still doing their league events instead of FIA. I mean it generates more interest than all of the leagues combined tbh  (especially outside the GTP community).

Can't complain that the guys who put effort into the FIA races got into events that were decided by FIA results. Something to think about for next year for many.

How the hell Nico from Chile did not get the invitation?

Chile isn't one of the countries competing at the World Tour event (USA and Brazil for Americas Region). He'll certainly be invited to the Regionals and Worlds.

Okay!!! The Driver from Austria the are kidding!
Ok Nussini ist the best Driver but the other one are not good at all!
Can not understand this decision???

Everybody who has been invited deserves to be in the event 👍. Sure they are underdogs on paper as a team, but maybe they will surprise in the live event;). I will keep my fingers crossed for the Austrian team and of course also good luck to all others:cheers:.

btw: I also did get an invitation but was unfortunately not able to change my business schedule shortly. Will wait for the T-Shirt

Scroll to the bottom, made my day:

No, it's a barely functioning esports team on a very large recruitment drive :sly:
Thank you. Wardez reported as much. But schnick snapped me into a moment of hysteria combined with paranoia, I think I'll call Parasterinoia, so I immediately started second guessing my reality. Cheers sir

Nope - and it's really not a good idea to publish private emails like that.
Ok you're right, I was just in a bit of panic and wanted to get something up before I go to work where it's a lot harder to attach stuff here
I should have posted some limited details asking others if they know if it's legit

But it really looked like a scam, as I have registered my details from the "original" invite email (although the registration web page is a bit shabby, so if they haven't got my details there's something wrong there), and he specified that I am among the "11 best ranked.." which sounds a bit odd to me (I am aware of speculation of Nik being underage plus Brocky05 not intending to attend), and couldn't spell passport

Edit: Oh and another thing that made me think it was a scam was he got the date of the original invite email wrong

I arrived too late to see Schnick's email. But since I didn't receive one (only the one that was sent just after 8pm on the 14th), I honestly think it is a scam, or at least not worth bothering to respond to.

Registration for the event closed an hour ago so we should have our official list of Asia-Oceania finalists soon.

I responded by saying that I've filled in the details using the link in the original email and if he still can't get it to let me know then I'll give it to him
Luckily, two hours before the deadline he said he has what he needs so I didn't need to provide details over email

Sorry beeing confused of all the dates, but when exactly is the regional live event (Nations Cup EMEA) in Salzburg now?

The World Tour event in Salzburg is a show event and has nothing to do with the FIA Nations Cup regional final. It is just a Teaser for the FIA finals.

It is September 22.

It's not. The person who sent the email is genuine, the email itself is genuine (I've spoken to him several times myself), the email addresses for replying are genuine and the spelling error for "passport" (and "eligible") may be because he's Dutch. That's why I said:
I think someone is trying to scam me...

Looking at the Salzburg participants, I was a bit fuddled why there are two Loris Garniers (essentially two TRL_AUGHs)? I think it's just a mistake on PD's end...

Well, your name is not that, @Marcolah?

With the invitations decided by their 2018 Series Nations Cup performances (excluding the Final Season), 2 out of 4 Nations Cup champions are going to Salzburg this weekend, which are @TRL LIGHTNING (Mikail Hizal) of EMEA S1 & S2 and saika159- (Kai Hin Jonathan Wong) of Asia/Oceania S2. Nicolas Rubilar (FT_NicoR), winner of the Americas S1 & S2, and L-Shooter_RB26, winner of the Asia/Oceania S1, would not be there, since for the former, Chile is not invited to the Salzburg event, but we should see him in the Americas Regional Finals, which is much more important than this Exhibition Round anyway. As for the latter, he might be just well ahead and didn't bother with the FIA events after some costly issues and probably applied a job with PD (presumably as a Test Driver) to cooperate with YAM23 over there.

As @mclarenLB isn't in Salzburg I suppose somebody has to do a sitrep

Half of us (non-Europeans, Germans/Austrians/Me) have already arrived at the rather lovely hotel and done some media stuff+receiving our kit for the weekend. Now just waiting for the rest of the European bois to arrive before heading into Salzburg for dinner.

No major incidents to report so far apart from Lightning being hit by the rather dodgy remote lawnmower in the hotel garden.

Also, Emails. Don't fret they are coming for those who have qualified. They haven't forgotten
