I mostly play counterattacks on 4-4-2. Pass it up to one striker, flick it to the other, through ball back to the first on the run. 4-5-1 has made me be more creative but its more difficult.

I am horrible at quick counter attacks. I learned that quickly and decided to take up a Barcelona style possession play lol.
 
I'm 50/50 at counter attacks. Sometimes I fail with them miserably and just lose the ball within an instant, but quite a bit of the time I can utilise the front three men I like to use to wreak havoc on the opponents through the counter.
 
With counter attacks it depends who I'm playing with. If I'm using my ultimate team I just don't bother, none of them have the pace so I build up the play and try to pick a way through and have a shot on goal. But if I'm playing with Spurs then I have Bale, Lennon and Defoe, all very quick so I normally beat the defenders but even so I can rarely slot it past the keeper when in a one on one.

Well that's utter bull****. I started a game on ultimate team against Hull, scored in the 6th minute and as I was celebrating I got disconnected from the EA servers. I reconnected again, re-started the game and 5 minutes in I was disconnected again.
I've gone onto it for the 3rd time to find half my teams contracts have run out. Thanks EA.

Speaking of which how do I renew my managers contract? I can't find anything anywhere.

Also all of my players are knackered because I can't afford to get decent replacements so they can have a rest for a couple of games. Because I'm having to spend thousands renewing the sodding contracts. I don't even know why I keep playing this game mode, all it does is piss me off :lol:

How are you guys getting hundreds of thousands of coins? I win a season and immediately need to spend my spoils on contracts and the odd player to beef up my team a bit.

Go to contracts and buy a managers contract, they look slightly different to player contracts and there's fewer of them.

Also, welcome to my world and EA Servers.
 
Ok CAM I suppose I can spare 50k now, so stick up a card at that BIN and post the details in here and I'll buy it, you'll get a bit less than that though because of EA tax.

After this I don't know how long it'll be before I can give some to someone else, it depends on if I get lucky in a pack and/or if I find a quicker way to make some more coins.:)

To where, my GTP account? I don't use that account for FIFA apart from a little extra trading if I need it.:sly: If you put it up with a buy it now price you don't need to add me anyway but if you want to I use red_ASH32 for FIFA and other games. I'm not on the console at the moment aswell, just on the web app so posting the details in this thread would be easier too.:)

Suárez looks fun.

Nasri looks like he has better stats but I'm still conflicted, I don't know why.

29,500 is a good price for Suarez right? Need a quick answer!!

Okay, I guess the leap of faith worked. And it was in the right formation too. Yay for British people asleep.

Guy said he'd give me an IF Hernandez and 3000 coins to let him win, was tempted to let the game go and get something to eat and take the chance but I played to a draw.

I can understand 5 at the back being dumb but 3? You have 2 in the box, and use the other can go on the side of the pitch if someone is pacing down the wing. Gives you more players up forward if you are possession based player as well. I really love playing my brassia hybrid team in 3-5-2

Well I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I see people struggling when they have 3 at the back against my 4-3-3. But you're right, 3-5-2 is great for possession play.

1 game, 2 points needed for Div 1 title :nervous:

My stubbornness to stick with 4-3-3 and an EPL team means I'm overpaying for everything. Having an 80 overall team isn't enough. Oh well next time.

You did the right thing, he wasn't going to give you 100k just for letting him win, he'd have given you nothing. There are so many scammers around these days.👎
 
Figures. Still contemplating on Nasri and Mata :lol:. Mata has better acceleration while Nasri has a higher work rate, among other things.
