I hate when people give up on Ultimate Team and just not play. What is the point? I was beating this guy at halftime 5-0. He then decides not to play. Waste of both of our time although, I won't complain too much. 700 coins and a win to bring me at 7 points in Div 2 with 6 games to go. Hopefully i can survive the relegation zone.

Relegation zone is 12 points in division one, he still needs 5 from 6. I've got relegated once from Division one in about 10 seasons, went and won the Division two title straight away :lol:

Division one is just so frustrating, being stuck in it is no fun. Silver cup is much more enjoyable 👍

I thought he was talking about division 2.

I can't decide after I get Cech if I should start saving up for an 100k+ attacker or beef up the defense with Evra/Clichy and someone like Walker, hopefully Maicon eventually.

Oops, I automatically assumed Division One, I think the stronger your team is, the more EA is out to get you ... makes sense in an EA sort of way.

Plus, CAM defence is more important. I tend to get by fine with a fairly average front three, but having a good defence is vital. Having ace attackers is no good if you just concede at the other end. A better goalkeeper than De Gea is also helpful, his handling isn't good enough, he pushes away to much.

I would recommend Evra too on his play so far for me, quite attacking minded though.
 
Do you think Evra/Clichy, Koscielny, David Luiz, and Walker/Johnson would be solid enough? Along with Cech.
 
I think so, though David Luiz isn't what he was in FUT12. I did fine with Enrique, Agger, Skrtel and Rafael. Keeping a bit of pace on the wings to deal with the inevitable sweat that online play brings is useful too. I might replace Luiz with Agger or Vermaelen, but that's a fairly solid back line.
 
I've played with Luiz a lot and like him. What's wrong with Sagna to make him so cheap? I think I'll save up for him and Evra.
 
Sagna isn't as fast as Walker for sure, and Johnson I think. Plus Maicon is quite a bit better than everyone else at RB. Hence the relative cheapness of his card.

Pace dictates card price to an extent. Unless your exceptionally rubbish in other areas, like Rojas the silver Mexican with 96 pace, but 1* weak foot and 2* skills :lol: worth about 2k.
 
Maicon is a bit out of the question for a defender for me :lol:. So I guess the cheaper, faster guy is smarter, I just thought Sagna's better overall rating had a hidden meaning. Now to decide between Evra and Clichy.

Bought Johnson, so the cheap job is done. Now it'll be ~40k for Evra/Clichy and Cech.

Do you guys think Jose Enrique would work well enough compared to the other two I mentioned? Because I don't handle the ball with my outside backs much.

Well that was interesting. I haven't played anybody who was legitimately good in Div 2 yet. Finally did. First game I lost 0-1 despite having more shots on target, nobody could finish. Fair enough, fair play. Second game, guy was clearly much better than me, had way more pace on his team as well. Scores in the 8th minute. Then I immediately get disconnected from PSN. I get a notification in the top right corner saying "An Ethernet Cable is not connected." LOL what? How does my Ethernet unplug itself? So now I have 4 games remaining to get 1 point. This is how things go lol
 
I really dislike Higuain, Miccoli, stupid Argentina pace teams that are all cheap. Ballers on a budget are getting me :lol:.

Also, in addition to needing Cech, Scholes is my center mid. He's made some awesome passes but a snail could beat him in a 40 yard dash and I could probably dribble better and I've never played in my life. Ramires looks good but I'll ask here for some cheaper suggestions.

I'm up 5-0. EA has me matched up against a guy using Mertesacker, I ride him like a cheap horse. I'm excited I finally won't get relegated, but wary because EA always does something for me to get relegated as anyone who follows my posts knows. Well, in the 90' some jerk at EA thinks it'll be hilarious to disconnect me and get me relegated yet again. Screw EA.

Higuain is not fast. He is only 78 pace. Higuain just seems to always be in the right place at the right time for me. Not to mention he is only like 10K. Not that expensive with the amount of coins that you get in FUT 13.
 
I was saying Higuain, Miccoli, and the entire Argentinian teams with pace players were all separate entities that savvy players can beat me with for a low number of coins, which I dislike.

Okay, so I think my options for CM are Wilshere, standard Fellaini, Gerrard, or keep Scholes.

Should I save up for Hart or just get Cech? I don't have experience enough with keepers to know. And what else can I do except put on Ultra Attacking and High Pressure to get the ball away from the :censored:hole that holds the ball for the whole game after making it 1-nil in the 3'. I literally chased him for 87' and didn't touch the ball once because my team wouldn't move.

Picked up Hart for 39,000, any good?

OMG!!

Get Frank Lampard!!
Got trolled twice from 1-1 to 2-1 played the long ball beat my centre halves and scored.
Then he gave away a free on the left side of the box about 8 feet in from the goal line. In comes Lampard steps up slots it home! 2-2

Repeat how he scored to go 3-2 down!! Oh no! 86th minute opponent gives away another free just outside the 18 yard box in front of goal.. BAM!!! Lampard again 3-3 best game ever!!!!!!!
 
Nice. I played one game with Hart last night, he made a couple mistakes but made a cool diving catch on a cross. The two goals allowed were a laser in the upper 90 by Hamsik and a header by Milito on a corner. I brought Hart out to punch it right at the kick and he whiffed, which is worrying.
 
The one problem with Enrique is his first touch. Had him for about 20 games on UT, and over 4 seasons in career mode. He is okay if you are holding down L2 when he controls the ball, but if you're on the counter and he's the man over, and he's sprinting, say goodbye to that chance. Ball goes about 20 feet away from him :indiff:
 
So who would you suggest as his replacement? Johnson has impressed me, even snagged a goal with him. I'll probably replace Enrique next.
 
I'm still saying Evra, he's cheaper than Cole and Clichy, and has almost identical stats to Cole. In 4-4-3 at least he's about 7k cheaper.
 
I'm on the web app and it is saying I can have 60 items in my trade pile, but I can only get 40 in there. EA's maintenance seems to have done the trick this time.

It breaks something everytime, the numbers are a glitch, you can't actually have that many items but there are a few other problems too at the moment.:ouch:

Been playing offline recently on my career mode. I have a team with a rating that should be of the likes of Real Madrid and Barca but, my team decide to play like retards and I concede goals left and right. It is absolute BS that the computer just decides it's going to score and I can't do anything about it. Which is just wrong on so many levels.

I have had the trade pile problem as well. Said I had 80.
 
I pay :censored:ing 39,000 for a goalie yet I concede 5 goals and the other guy using the goalie I just replaced has a star performance from him. Every person that has ever worked for EA can lose their job and rot in a very warm and uncomfortable place that I will not name.
