I have problems with this game in UT mode. if I start up the game in ps3 and notice it bogs and stutters, it is almost guaranteed that UT will disconnect during my games. I usually quit the game and restart it which doesn't stutter the next time and UT stays connected without issue like 95% of the time. It is frustrating losing like 6 games in a row just from disconnects.. Friends on x360 have no issues though
 
Right, so they can be added to the trade pile tomorrow then! Physios seem to play a role more though.

That's because every game company makes games for the Xbox first, then quick ports it to the ps3. It is less work for the companies that way because... The ps3 is more powerful than the 360, so if ut works on the 360, it will work on the ps3.

Another reason why I am going to buy the Xbox Infinity before I get a PlayStation Orbis.
 
Hearing stories on Twitter from a few YouTube directors that peoples Ultimate Teams are getting reset. EA are really messing up with this game. It is tragic how much of a fail FIFA 13 is.
 
Does anyone know why a few celebrations don't work in Match Day mode?

Fingers crossed that my UT is still there.
 
Agreed. Is Fernando Torres any good as a striker? I'm looking for my next purchase to be Juan Mata in CAM, Torres in ST/CAM, or Balotelli in ST.
 
He can't score.

Get Balotelli absolutely. He is a damn good all-rounder. And a lad in real life.

If you don't abuse pace, Torres is amazing. You get him a half way decent shot, and it's going to be in the back of the net.

Balotelli is great as well though. Is he worth the price tag? Maybe not.
 
The medium attacking workrate on Balotelli bothers me. I think I'll buy one of the two, just not sure which. And I think they're fast enough to stay ahead of someone if they get in front, which is all you can really ask for.

Think I need to replace my LB first. Johnson has snagged me a goal, but Jose Enrique missed an easy breakaway that would have won the game. Torres/Balotelli can wait.

I love how EA teases you with giving you a mediocre team with awful chemistry then letting them go 4-0 up on you in a half. Balls don't magically spin 40 yards off course for a corner which scores 4 times.

I'm beginning to second guess buying Balotelli/Torres, since a lot of my goals come from Hernandez barely outrunning people. Maybe I'll beef up my Serie A team, I just don't know who to buy.

So after research it looks like the best Serie A buys are Miccoli, Giovinco, and Palacio. Is Miccoli strong or something, because Muriel is still faster.

My knowledge of Seria A isn't that great, but I find people use Muriel's pace to their great advantage. He's pretty much like Hernandez. Miccoli is a better all rounder. If your game plan revolves around pace (like most of the people I play :indiff:), get Muriel. Otherwise get Miccoli.


In other news, just won my first Div 1 title :D. With my crappy @$$ team. Feels good. And the bonus gets my coin total to 25K, so I can buy Cech now.
 
What does the Financial Takeover thing do? I bought it and don't see extra transfer money.

I got mine randomly a few days after I purchased the EASFC item. Not sure if that is normal or not though.

Miccoli has less strength than Muriel. But all around he is a classic. There is not a single difference between him and Di Natale, who is 6 times more expensive, because he's that good. So you can imagine what Miccoli is like.

If you want to use Giovinco, stick with playing as the actual Juventus team on seasons or something. Because there he is actually 5* because EA cocked up his skill level at first and can't just manually change it in Ultimate Team. Without the 5* he's a bit of a dud. With them, he remains one of the best in the entire game.

Palacio is a superb player, but the other two RFs in the game, Diamanti and Lamela, work miracles at times. Really, the trio of them are great, so who's to say you shouldn't get all three?
 
Make sure you guys sell your teams before January. Because when January comes along, with transfers, as well as the Team of the year, the market is gonna crash, and players prices are probably going to be cut in half. I'm going to wait around until then before I spend $20 on packs.
 
Why would you wait? Wouldn't getting a good player now be better than later? I trust your judgement, but I don't get how you predict a market crash :lol:. I understand going for team of the year though, I may wait for that to buy as well. I guess I'll keep the cheap Serie A team and then buy back all my players. Hope it works...

I never really dealt with IF cards in previous FIFA UT's. Do they also cut in half price wise?

I agree, buying packs right now is the better idea. The odds of getting a TOTY player is so slim, it's not worth waiting in my opinion.

But, the market crashes every year just after Christmas. This happens because a lot of people get the game, or they get PSN cards or MS Points to buy packs with.

More people playing + more people opening packs = Price Cuts

I think it gives it to you at the start of the season i think. Not 100% sure though.
 
WOW. I was 1 point from getting promoted to DIV 1 just now. Played a game. Beat the guy 3-1. Just at the end of the game. It says that EA can't process the game. I get kicked off of the FUT Servers and have to restart my game to get back in the EA servers. Come back, my DNF rating has gone down, I was given a loss, I got no coins for it, and I am not getting promoted. This is actually a joke EA.

I've had this before and it seems to be doing it a few people today.
When it does this you get a loss, nothing you can do about it.👎
 
Took my Xbox in to my local game shop as I was having issues with certain games freezing as I was playing them, Black ops was the biggest problem as the game froze during multiplayer every few seconds.

I got a new console as mine was still under warranty but I can no longer play Ultimate Team for the moment as I have been locked out of my account :grumpy:

I contacted an EA rep and after giving a few details he told me that I wasn't locked out their end, he then said he would have to pass it on to higher authority so they could look into it but I have a 5-7 day wait for an email from them :ouch:

Anybody else had this problem? I had forgotten my answer to my secret question and after trying all attempts it allowed for me to work out the answer it locked me out. Would of been nice if there was an option to change my secret answer but I didn't see one.

Oh well looks like I will be sticking to the very frustrating Black Ops 2, the spawns are among the worst I have seen, the maps are very bland as well :yuck:
 
Found a great trading method. I can make about 450 coins per card. And I can make about 3K an hour. Not bad I think. The method? I'm not going to give out the player I am using because I am a greedy person but, cheap shiny BPL cards. You can get great deals on some and sell them on for more.
 
I don't know who to guess, so I guess that means no money for me :lol:. Kudos.
 
If you have IF players. Most have gone up in price by 33% over the past day. I'm a bit sceptic though. Because if the price doesn't go back down down on the players I like playing with, I don't want to lose them lol.

Ut has been hacked somehow, all the top players are going for stupid prices because it looks like some people have unlimited coins. I guess it will be going down soon.

Ah ok. Good thing that I didn't sell any of mine. Decided to wait because I use all of the IF players that I go in packs.

For those of you with a decent amount of coins. You can often times pick up Torres's for 30K. Then sell them for 35K. So about 3K profit. Just a tip :)

I sold my IF Rooney for 620k yesterday and then this all started and he is going for 950k+ now. Some players have been bought for up to 15 million. EA still have not taken it down.:grumpy:
