I sold my IF Rooney for 620k yesterday and then this all started and he is going for 950k+ now. Some players have been bought for up to 15 million. EA still have not taken it down.:grumpy:

I'm not going to sell because they will probably take it down. And my luck, they'll reset my account or something. I'm going to guess that somebody that knows how to hack got their accounts reset and decided to do this to EA. Can't really blame him.

Better start making cheeky bids before they take the servers down.

*EDIT*

All of the major FIFA Ultimate Team companies are now saying what I was just thinking. FUT is getting hacked to bits right now for the resets earlier in the week. Apparently the guys are buying all the IF's on the market and discarding them.

I was selling my players anyway, it just turns out that at around the same time the hacking started. If I knew about it then I would not have sold them.

It's probably an attack on EA because of all the server issues and bugs.

Who else thinks they reset everything and give everyone 5 gold packs as compensation?

The FUT servers are back up as of this morning. Thankfully, I'm not yet a victim of this hacking. I haven't witnessed it either. What exactly is going on?

Yeah, was there anything else than IFs getting bought up?

Still kinda cautious on selling my whole team, only thing I've ever made a profit on is contracts..

EA said on Twitter that the Web App bonuses are done for now.

Basically you can log into FUT via the Game and the iPod app at the same time. You have two sessions open and apparently you can do trading on both at the same time. If you make bids on players, one device can buy all the players while the other device saves how many coins you have. You can still win the cards but don't lose coins because they are still open on the other device. It's kind of hard to explain.

Here's the post that I read. I've read it in a few places so, it sounds quite likely.

So this was quickly removed from the EA forums, could be real or could be fake. I thought I'd share it with the dudes on FUTWiz. Really quite crazy.

What the guy on the EA forums wrote:

'Hello.

The time has come. It took 3 days but we decided i should release this.

Conclusion of the chaos
My friends friend decided to turn his back on us and greed ultimately got him. From what we first needed him for the a couple of million coins, he demanded to know the glitch aswell. As we gave him the trust it was sadly a time question before he changed.
He became one of us for a short period of time before switching side, releasing the glitch to his friends and eventually injected millions in the market by buying all players over 3 million and any inform on the market on both consoles. (Thats why PC wasnt affected btw)

If it wasnt for him the glitch would be in safe hands. Thats depends on how you define safe

The Story from beginning to end
Well basically, after the iOS app was released you were probably enjoying the new fast trading and all. But what you didnt realize was that if somebody introduces something new, anything, solutions may appear.. but so does problems. That goes with anything in life. Anyhow, the point is that a group consisting of me and an old PS3 hacking friend from Russia started to unseriously look after loopholes in the application from my intiative. This took place somewhere in the middle of october.

Anyhow, the brainstorming was unserious at first but luckily after a couple of weeks we presented eachothers ideas. To keep the story easy for you im not going to go so deep in the exact method and conclude it instead. We had tons of ideas like duplicating the app and create an identical one with the same server but different rules, rewriting the coin generating code but most flattering one was my PS3s friend about remote controlling.
From basic knowledge of servers, he realized that if you remote controlled your iphone AND being online on the webapp at the same time, 2 different sessions will be created but on the same server.
What does that mean? It means you could do something on livesesssion #1 and making it stick to both livesessions without affecting livesession #2. When youre active on livesession #2 it will misstakely think its the same as livesession #1 was before because the circumstances are identical.

Might sound weird yes. If you want to hear it in fifa language this is basically what it was in one sentence:
Buy something for session #1, no coins goes away at remote controlled session #2... Repeat and you have won the game.

So what happened later? Well we were in chock and pretty much power *. We just realised that a simple experiment just lead to a possible thousand dollar buissness. By the way if it matters, the time the glitch was mapped out was somewhere around 20th of november.
Here comes the issue.. his "friend". The date was something like 28/29th, Me & my PS3 friend decided to set ourselves out with about 10+ million each. Problem was that we didnt have any starting coins over like 50k. Therfore we decided he should contact his "trustworthy" friend to borrow some to eventually start buying players. The trades were successfull and we paid back the borrowed amount to the "friend".
What we didnt take notice of was that we not only showed up on ultimadedb.nl but also on the leaderboards with our team names. But because of pricefixers and what not we were sure EA wouldnt do anything if we didnt reach the number #1 spot of 27 million by theSence.

Aaaaand here comes to downfall, the ultimatum. Basically the his "friend" insisted, and i mean desperately insisted to have an answer on what was going on. He was bombing us, spamming us, calling us on skype and demanded an answer of "How could we suddenly be millionaires in a day?"
If we didnt answer him we assumed he would ea call, email, report etc.
Instead of the behalf of my PS3 friends trust, we didnt start arguing an and let him on our side. He became one of us. The FUT power was way too big to risk.

So as you read from above you know how it ended. His friends friends friends friends abused it to an extent that you guys were noticing it on the 4th of december. Then you started to abuse it and here we sit waiting for something we dont know.'

EDIT: after speaking to a few people who are knowledgeable about this type of thing. This is a very likely true.

Goalscoring midfielders. GO!

My current crop are:

Mertens (actually a LW, but plays LM, need a card for him), scored 9 in about 45, he's my best.
Essien - 4 in 20
Cabaye - Only couple of games played
Nainggolan - 3 in 30 odd
Isla/McGeady (RM) - Both have about one each from a combined 30-40 games.
Etherington - 1 in 10
Aquilani/Ledesma - 3 and 4 respectively from about 30/40 games respectively.

I think it's an area I can do more in, strikers seem to be consistenly scoring every other game. Mertens is actually right footed, so gets a few when cutting in from the left.

Currently got 18k coins, don't really want to spend all of it. 4-4-2 formation, so LM, CM or RM. I have a Serie A team and an all-comers team, thinking of getting a Prem team going.

In terms of midfielders scoring goals, I actually get a ton of goals with Guarin, he always pops up and gets goals, plus his distance shot is pure stupidity, so good it is. Borja Valero does a superb job for me as well both at passing and occasionally scoring goals. He's done a much better job for me than Coutinho in much less games, but I want a full attacking mid in there somewhere. The front three obviously get a good ton as well.

It's much the same with my Eredivisie team, have Djuricic who goes forward a lot, and Fer who can occasionally pop up and give me a goal. The front three provide a lot as well though.

My 4-3-2-1 hybrid however is purely all about the front three of Narsingh-Arnautovic-Elia.

My top 3 scoring midfielders:

3. Cabaye (6 in 29)
2. Wilshere (6 in 27)
1. Milner (no really!!!) (13 in 29)

4-4-2, I'd definitely recommend Milner. He's strong when defending, in the middle of the park, and when you're near the opposite guy's box. Plus his work rate is High/High. Always pops up when you need him and doesn't tire all 90 minutes. If you can save up for Gerrard somehow, he'll be a perfect partner.

This is for prem ofc, no clue about Serie A .

Vidal does everything a CDM asks of you. And his lowest stat is 68.

Sven Bender does much the same but in Bundesliga form, and with less all-roundedness.

The rest of the Juve midfield annoys me though - while I will accept that the main 4 in front of Pirlo, which is Isla, Vidal, Marchisio and Asamoah, are all excellent, I can't get over the fact that they all seem to basically do the same thing. Even their most skilled midfielder, Simone Pepe, has some feeling of defense, because like the other 4 he has high-high workrates. I suppose it is useful to work like that though, since while Juve run 3 at the back, with two wide mids with defensive capabilities they might as well be playing 5 at the back.

At least they do have one break from the general norm of 'technicality' (Giovinco).

Also, I like to keep my H2H squads updated. They always update on Fridays. This one brought some interesting characters...

I can give more screenshots of H2H exclusive stuff, if you would like.

Finally got my first IF player, Daniel Agger! Currently going for 90k plus. Not sure if I want to cash in!

When's a good time to start selling?

And both online goals I've scored since the update have been off crosses, which is unheard of for me. And my normal style of defense is more effective as well.
