Fifa 13 *FUT Tips in OP!*

Interestingly, as a PES player I had certain methods of scoring. On FIFA 13 I don't. I'm beating defenders out wide and cutting in, crosses, through balls, set pieces, long shots, etc. It's such a well rounded experience and am glad I plumped for it.

Yes, Diego Costa scored a nice header against Barca from a corner, lovely volley from O'Hara against Real Madrid that I saved.
 
I almost scored a volley from outside of the side of the 18'. It beat the keeper and darn near caught the keeper, it would have been amazing. I did score another free kick, it was so good my friend right next to me went crazy (while he was on the phone, scared the crap out of the other person :lol:).
 
I did something unreal once and had I converted it I would have went mental. Basically, two forwards ran from the half way lobbed-through ball over the defender about 5 times back and forth without the ball touching ground, and I should have shot but didn't so a left back finally caught me on the edge of the box.. :(
 
Well, after my mom forgetting to bring FIFA 13 with her when she was visiting me, I am back in the states for a week and was able to play it at my friends house. First impressions? Seems so much more real and everything looks to be much smoother than that of 12. First touch is awesome too because you can get away from defenders that could be lurking right behind you waiting for you to turn around and snag the ball from you.

This is why I sometimes hate FIFA, I am the Liverpool crest team.
 
Fifa Ultimate Team.. Last three results in that are:

Silver Shield:
6-2 Loss
8-1 Loss

Bronze Challenge Cup:
8-2 Loss

I mean I was in the final earlier which I lost 2-1 so where are these guys coming from?
 
Actuallt on the road to that final I was:

7-0 Win
4-0 Win
4-1 Win
2-1 loss

Just won in seasons against a full gold team with 90 chemistry with my all bronze team with 94 chemistry.. :D

3-2, was going to take photo's of squad and score but EA Servers went down just after game :grumpy:

Also sold an Ajax Crest for 1000, and a Coates for 1,600, but I bought Coates for 2,600 an hour earlier..

EDIT: Seriously considering ringing and complaining to EA.. That's a semi-final and a seasons match they've discredited me of now, didn't get any coins either..
 
What difficulty was it set to? I do find a bit of rubber banding, you start well, get a goal then for 5 minutes you can't get close to the computer. They ping it around like Barca and get two sneaky goals, the last one normally in the 92nd minute!
 
My DNF modifier has dropped .50, was 1.1 before problems and now 0.6. Then when I won my match modifier was 0.43 so I only got about 400 coins for coming back from 2-0 to win 3-2..
 
When I play the TOTW it's on world class and I win! I'm not that stupid that I'd be like oh hang on I lost where are my coins?? I know you only receive them once also but doesn't solve me not getting them at all!!!
 
You guys suck. :lol: I think once I get focused on seasons all the extra cash will help, and hopefully every time I try to 59th minute something it won't be a waste of time.

Is it hoping that somebody put something good as like 200 coins by mistake?
 
Precisely, except its not that ambitious. I normally hope to find things worth 3800-6000 for less than 2000, but there aren't many.
 
After some good performances for York City, their young 18 year old goalkeeper, in his first season as a professional, has secured a £1.2 million move to Cardiff City on deadline day.


Now I'm in the Championship, I get Ally Mac's in-match updates, which are really great. I'm in and out of the Cardiff team, getting a game every five games or so. Currently 69 OVR, and performing well.
 
Just want to mention the FUT app here, free to use on browsers and you get a 500 coin bonus, all you can dois modify stuff and trade, helps get to the 59 minute mark though :)

FIFA 13 Title Update due out this weekend.

This will be our first official update of FIFA 13, and will address the game issues that have had the biggest impact on our fans:
Connection stability in Online Seasons when finding an opponent in the Arena, and at kick-off.
Career Mode freeze while starting a new career with free agents.
Career Mode hangs when using Game Face.
Stability in Career Mode when players retire or are being bought back from loan.
Users will no longer be able to lower difficulty settings in a FUT Seasons match.
Freeze in FUT Online Tournament HUB on PS3.
Napoli of Serie A will now have fully authentic kits and crests in FIFA and FIFA Ultimate Team.
Legacy defending and passing assistance options removed in Pro Clubs.
Freeze in Pro Clubs Results screen.
Matchmaking settings in Pro Clubs (with "ANY" and "Match Keeper") will provide the desired results.
Changes made in National Squad not properly reflected in Manager Mode screen.
(PC Only) Freeze while retrieving Hospitality Settings.
 
Hmmm.. Lets hope that connectivity issues means in seasons that I won't get stuck in the arena waiting to play.
 
What about even matchmaking for Seasons on Ultimate Team. If you go in with a bronze or silver team your bound to be paired up against a gold team. That's why I only play tournaments atm.
 
They can be beaten however, I did it once, full gold team against my all bronze team. We both had high chemistry. I won 3-2 and DC'd looking over the stats in the end. He got the points I assume, since I didn't.
 
It just makes me think, why didn't they put even matchmaking in? Why would you even not put it in... Doesn't make sense...
 
Ok, I've discovered (via a middle party) a severe ultimate team glitch, that is incredibly beneficial. Basically, it allows you to use sliders in single player tournaments, and is very simple.

1. Adjust sliders to your liking
2. Play a game on kick off, and then score a goal
3. Immediately after scoring, leave the game.
4. Proceed to FUT, and play and singleplayer matches, even on Ultimate difficulty, it's a piece of cake

This allows you to make money if your struggling, or useless at trading. Hope it helps.

In addition, my Ivory Coast team is progressing well. Only lacking Doumbia, both Toure's and Kalou, then it's done. Not pace abuse at all ...
