I've worked nonstop since the game came out and I have 12,000 coins.. I have to be missing something
 
I have been whoring the 4-1-2-1-2 formation cards. Have picked up 5 or 6 now for around 1k and have sold them for 5k each. Been searching for BIN maximum of 1,500 and hanging round the 59 minute mark.
 
I suppose I can try that. I've been trying to buy gold contracts for 200 and sell for 250 but doesn't work great.

I've got 500 :D

You can pick up quite a lot of players rated around 80 and above for less that 2500 coins. I haven't really seen the point in building up a fortune, I won't until I want the Iniesta's, Lionel Messi's and Ronaldo's.
 
Got a 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 for 1,000 each, that was all I found. Is there an easier way to get to 1 hour dhandeh? I had to scroll to page 200 :lol:.

No, that's the only way to do it. It is worth it though, when you pick up some bargains.
 
Gotcha. Yeah, I saw those two cards and snatched them, but the only thing else I saw was 4-4-1-1 and 4-2-2-2.

I won...5-0??? How? He must have had one arm.

Are there very many 4-1-2-1-2 cards there?

I don't think its refreshing once I get to the hour mark.

4-1-2-1-2 cards are like hens teeth. That's why they go for 5k to 6k each. Everyone wants them.

Why would you want Messi to play in a 4-1-2-1-2? He plays 4-3-3- at Barca!
 
i think my FIFA might be broken. In be a pro, the game stops advancing by itself, then every game the manager say in in, and i haven't played a game so far. I'm the best player on the team by 3 ratings, and still no game...this is annoying
 
It's a lot easier playing in division 5 with my gold team.. why didn't I figure this out sooner?

And dhandeh, when you actually get to page infinity or wherever 1 hour is, do more cards show up? Because I don't think I see anything new appear when I do, and I have to go down a lot of pages to stay at an hour.
 
You need to scroll 5 pages back, then forward again. It's about timing and luck as lots of people will be doing the same!
 
Back as in toward page 1? And I doubt as many people would be 59th minuting the formation cards as other things because its such a hassle to get to them.
 
Yes, back towards page 1. You will be surprised on the lengths people go to to make the smallest amount of profit. E.g, if you manage to buy it now a 76+ player for 300 coins, you can quick sell him for 324. A massive profit of 24!
 
I tried that, except it'd be like 308 or something.

I'm actually enjoying playing a lot more now that I'm using a gold team. I'm just trying to think of an awesome striker to save up for to compliment the lineup.

Wondering if its worth using a 4-4-2 card on Vela, decisions decisions...

Anyone think Tévez is a good 1st investment on an elite player? I saw a couple going for 35,000, and I'm pretty sure he's really good. Not to mention he would mesh well with all the other Argentines.

My FUT is improving, I've just bagged Gary Hooper (76) for 500, he's 4-4-2 and English.

I need some formation cards though and an English left back at some point. Just played another online game, good fun, tough though.
 
How are you playing online, seasons or tournaments? And FUT is just more rewarding to me than career mode. Thankfully I didn't use my 4-4-2 card on Vela, because he sucks :lol:.

Last two times I've tried to 59th minute the formation cards I haven't found any though :(.
 
No, the bronze tournament is way harder for me. I've won my last 6 or 7 season games in a row, most of them shut outs. I expect to start losing when I get to D3 though.
 
I had an amusing online match last night, opponent got a player sent-off in the first 4 in-match minutes and a booking. I think he was Joey Barton, no injuries thankfully, I was 5-0 up at half-time when he quit. He couldn't defend at all, I was just passing it in to the net and Gary Hooper got a hat-trick on debut.

Abidal signed for my left-back, up next is probably centre-back and maybe replace Lee Camp in goal, though he has been very solid for me (first signing).

Are there other game modes?
 
In Ultimate Team? You can do single player seasons and tournaments along with their online counterparts, and then play a friends team on or offline, I think that's it.

I guess I'm gonna save up for Tévez, he seems like cheapest elite player.
 
Ah, rhetorical question as I was essentially saying I will unlikely be playing anything beyond FUT.
 
Same. I tried career mode and I'll really enjoy the national team aspect if my internet goes down, but FUT is too addicting. I do play Kick Off mode when friends are over, which just makes me pissed that my Ultimate Team isn't that great since we normally do Madrid v. Barcelona :lol:.
 
Really enjoying career mode, and I think i'll just stick with it, because I don't play that much Fifa 13...

Have other games I like more. :sly:

Play matches, lots of them. Typically I have been getting around 5-600 coins per match, even if I draw. Do 10 matches, you've got roughly 5000 coins (assuming you don't spend any of them, which inevitably you will)

You could do things like buying and selling on certain items, but I personally didn't buy the game to sit there for hours selling on items and looking for certain cards. And like I've said before you can get very decent players, for hardly any coins, so even if you just play matches and get 500 a time you can build up a strong team very quick.

I thought of an idea just there, buy a bronze pack for 400, sell everything for 150 and you have yourself a 900-1000 profit within the hour (presuming all are sold), and can still play at the same time.
