FML!!! I just played a match on Ultimate team, before which I had to extend 2 players contracts.
I won and went back to the team screen and I need to renew 8....YES 8!!!! more contracts :lol: This is going to be expensive, and I only have 1104 coins.....

There's a clever way to swap up all the contracts so this doesn't happen. Rotate players more often and if you have multiple on the same number of contracts give them another while you have money, whether it be bronze, silver or gold.

Also, I have 16 nationalities in my starting 11 and subs, Palacios and Figeroua being the Israelies.

That said, if you want an Israeli, look for Maor Melikson of Wisla Krakow. One of the top silvers in the game I feel.

I've bid on about 100 contracts for 150 and gotten 2.. :lol:

I guess I'll start a Premier League team next, some players I'm familiar with for reasonable prices.

At first it really worked for me and I was like "WOOOO MONAY HERE I COME!!!!"
Now I'm like "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! Why are people bidding up to 600 coins on contracts when you can buy them for 250 easy WTF???"

So instead I changed my motives to Silver contracts. I think you can sell them for 250 easy, and there really easy to get hold of. I usually sell for about 200 though cause they are much easier to get. Every 5 I sell I get 200 back, so I would make 1600 back. Not bad.
 
Any form of contract is easy money, just not a lot of it. It's a shame you get loads of obscure badges and kits rather then contracts in the bronze packs.
 
Working on a EPL team, all I've gotten so far is Mirallas and N'Zogbia. I'm so tempted to splurge on Gervinho but the LW>>LM card will be expensive.. And he's the same position as N'Zogbia.
 
I have a trading tactic for those needing money. Deal in Wellitons.

Simply, he goes for around 8,500-9000 coins buy now at all times (depending on the time of day)

But bids are often much less, so if you can afford it, he's in such high demand, you can regularly buy 7900-8k, and make a tidy profit. Worked well for me today, until I accidentally listed him for 1.8k buy now :banghead: you learn anyway.

If you buy for 8k and sell for 8,500 that's only a profit of 100.

Does formation matter a lot on the Wellitons? Cause I see a lot of different prices..

Formations matter on everyone. Have a look at the formation cards, the rare gold ones will be the formations you will ideally want him in.
 
Yeah I didn't see any go for 7500-8000, you guys get my hopes up! :lol:
 
Everything I realise in this game becomes useless a day later when the majority kops on.. Now it's hard to get silver contracts.. Although I did make a couple thousand earlier on in the day from them.

Maybe this means its easier to get golds? :O

I should start selling golds for 300 since I seen a bid war reach 600 earlier.
 
With the Wellitons it's more of a slow steady profit, of 100-300 coins a player. Formation doesn't matter really, you must have just picked a high point in the Market, unless everyones cottoned on to the tactic :nervous:
 
Has anyone noticed the trick where you change the kick off values in the menu it carried over to UT. But now it seems that don't work ;(
 
I just wish there was a low risk way to slowly make small amounts of coins. It'll add up after awhile.
 
Anybody having troubles receiving their credits after selling players? I have 2 players that I received this morning in a promo gold pack up for sale which appear to have bids on them, the problem is the auction has expired and there is no option to receive the credits. I have the loading symbol flickering at the bottom of the screen everytime I come here to try and receive the credits :grumpy:

The strange thing is I have been out and come back and my computer hasn't been on but the problem is still the same, any ideas guys?

Edit: It also shows that the player contracts have expired but like I said they are new players from a promo pack and obviously were not like that when I got them this morning
 
That happens every now and then. Not a lot you can do, just wait until you get the funds. I quite often have the market hang up on me.

Love FIFA games. Buy them every year, and that's still liking PES.. I just have a thing for FIFA. I alternate between PS3 and X360 versions usually each year. This year I got it for PS3. Before the latest update, playing 99% UT it would lock up my system every now and again with a bit of server connection issues (thanks to EA's excellent servers of course lol). Ever since the latest update I've noticed real weird visual glitches in the menus, something like for a split second only, but the game now locks up my system once every 2-3 times I play UT. Haven't tried any other mode though. I've lost contract games on players because of this lock up which stinks btw... And the last really strange thing that happened was over the weekend where a non gaming menu bar remained in game play and then after locking up and rebooting, the next UT game I played (not online) had no menus during play, not triangle over the player you are, nothing. Game was really choppy and slow too and then whammo.. another lock up.

Are any of you experiencing this as well or is my PS3 on it's last legs? Original fat nonBC 40GB unit, already had it's BD drive replaced once in the past (free, was under warranty). I wonder if I should go out and buy a PS3 Slim if it's a system issue... FIFA13 is the only game that locks up like this btw. I had GT5 lock up maybe a total of 2-3 times in all the times I played that game.
