Use Ghana, they're surprisingly good, and plenty of pace up front, plus you have Boateng in the middle to hold things together.

Anyone got some words of wisdom on the Bundesliga? My main concern is that 4-3-1-2 won't work with me.

And I'm surprised I didn't think about the Ghanaians, after the events in South Africa... :sick:

Yeah, I remembered and checked that. I gave up on IF Muller and will just wait to get IF Gotze or Robben.

I did make a Ghana team, I'm waiting to start a bid war on a RW and Ill be done with it. It will either be really fun or awful.
 
Nice. Next year I'm gonna try to trade better, I think my deficit is like 700k :lol:.

Burkina Faso looked very promising but there's only one GK (bronze) and one defender.

IF Müller is tempting, I just don't know what he'd give that Farfan doesn't. And all the other IFs are really expensive.

I'm considering going 4-3-1-2, but I'm just scared I won't be able to play it as well as 4-5-1.

Plan would be:
Neuer
Alaba
Hummels
Naldo
Lahm
IF Müller (in CM, would that still be 9 chem?)
Schweinsteiger
Another CM, need suggestions
Götze CF
Reus and Lewandowski up front, with another pace guy on the bench.

Or I could possibly use a Gotze CM, Muller CF, and IF Lewandowski up front. Help :lol:.

You won't be able to get IF Muller in CM. His IF is a right mid. IF Lewandowski is worth every penny. Much better than Gomez. And Gomez is crazy good as well. Don't waste your coins on IF Gotze. The standard card actually played better for me.

Javi Martinez is cheap and a damn good holding midfielder. IF Roman Neustadter is a gem as well. I got him in a pack and originally was going to sell him. Played 2 games with him, and now he starts over any other player. Just a boss of a player.

Use IF Naldo and IF Howedes at CB. Both are crazy good. Then have Santana as a backup in case one gets injured or something.

Only suggestions that I really have.

I've never liked that formation as well.
 
I knew he was RM, was just asking if him being in CM would totally kill his chemistry but thanks :)

Ill look up Naldo and Howedes but I think this Ghana team could be alright. I lost 5-4 to an 86 rated World XI type team, great fun. I think there's only 4 gold players on my team. I desperately wanted to use Tetteh as my LM but there were others better :lol:.
 
Only other thing that I can think of is Kroos. He gets looked over by everyone because no pace. Yeah, he's not that quick. But, put him in the CF position, and he will score some cracking goals because his long shots are crazy good.

If you can afford IF Alaba, he's insanely good as well. He moves into more of an attacking position but, it hasn't really hurt me yet. He's gotten a few goals Ashley Cole style as well.
 
I was considering Alaba. I still have Kroos but never use him.

Gotze hasn't done much for me at CAM, Muller scores almost every game along with Reus and Bastian makes good passes. Farfan is good, Schurrle isn't.

I'd just like more coins before shelling out for a 50k+ player.

I think Muller is definitely better in the game than Gotze. The only problem I have with Muller is his work rates. Which I believe are High and High. So he wears himself out quite quickly. If you don't mind using a contract and subbing on another player, like me, it's not a big deal but...

Sturridge is down to 8k lowest buy now... Gerrard is down to 4k or lower :eek:, Ba is less than 1k :lol:, Piszczek is less that 5k, and Wiese is now in the 1k range. My 34k quest is down to 19k.:lol:

I'm guessing that because all of the TOTY players are in packs at the same time, people are selling their life for them lol. I've seen prices drop by 50% on some players... overnight!

Has anybody tried playing with Ozil? I considered him or Podolski as a backup CF for Reus when he's tired. Despite not from the Bundesliga, he works because he's German.

I think that's a very excellent team.

Owusu-Abeyie is the best silver in the game stats wise - every stat that is cool and important, he has covered. 92 pace, 81 dribbling, 84 shot power, 5* skills. He even has decent strength to boot. He's not my absolute favourite but I respect him hugely for being so good on so many counts.

Oh and technically as an RW his rating would be 74, so he'd still be a silver (I know this because he was switched to one on H2H with no base stat changes).

I would also take Abdul Majeed Waris over Oduro because his finishing is far higher and you do want to get at least some goals.

Also every silver CM from Ghana is over 70 pace, and two of the CDMs are over 80, so I would most definitely get them for back-ups. I certainly wouldn't pass up the chance to take Frimpong either...no one would.

Just made a Colombia team for 45k ish, it's as follows:
GK: Ospina (77)
LB: Armero (78)
CBs: Perea (76), Zapata (74)
RB: Arias (71) and the only choice
CM: Guarin (81)
LM: Zuniga (78)
CAMs: Muriel (78), Ibarbo (76)
RM: Cuadrado (76)
ST: Falcao (88)

Pretty cheap aside from Falcao, the rest of the team cost 8k. I'll see how it plays later.

I've had Podolski and currently have Ozil. Not overly impressed with either to be honest. Given the choice i would go for Ozil.
 
My first choice is Van Der Vaart at CF!!

He is amazing with Huntelaar up front and Afellay and Farfan on the wings.
But I'm guessing you want just Germans, if you wanna spend a little get IF Kießling!!! GOLD!!!

I have Majeed Waris as a sub but haven't given him a go yet since Oduro has gotten me 5 goals in 2 games :lol:. The only other scorer has been KPB.

Only need 16k more, but my bronze player trading doesn't seem to be working too well right now...
 
Conclusion from the Colombia teams are easy to draw. Either:
a) I haven't played for two months, and consequentially suck or
b) The team isn't that good and
c) Falcao is unbelievable in the air

Now I think my 3 losses, in the 90th minute, are a combination of a) and b), plus scripting. But Falcao is a boss in the air 👍
 
Yep scripting is annoying when it does it. I got beat 4-0 earlier to someone I was at least equal too and hit the post 5 times in the match while he scored some stupid goals. I won the next match 4-0 and the one after 8-0 where I had 23 shots with 20 on target, all this with the same team.
 
It is a bit random sometimes. This time I had scored in the 90th minute, he then scored from kick off, despite getting tackled twice, the ball went straight back to him!. Hence my frustration. Love Falcao though :lol:

Practice.

In the practice mode, in the pause screen it tells you what the commands are. After that practice practice practice.

This, and stick to 5 or so you can do. Simple ones are still effective, you don't need to be able to do a fake rabona :lol:
