And since Nepenthez did a squad with no chemistry, everybody is going to hop on the bandwagon and disregard it completely. As if people not even bothering with formation and position wasn't bad enough...
 
I've been spending so much time making 99 chem hybrids, and it's so pointless, because chemistry doesn't matter that much? :lol: They make it seem like all or nothing, like anything less than 99 is just lackluster, when you could just take the fastest player in every position, with 66 chemistry, and kick ass?

Not like I'm trying to slag your squad off or anything :lol: Just that the front two (maybe three) are way too common, there are better back 4's to use and Jese is made completely obsolete by Deulofeu (only consider using Jese's IF occasionally), although Casemiro is a very strong player and Borja Garcia is quite underrated as well.

Any recommendations for defenders? I think I can do better, but there are too many defenders of such varying prices to try them all. I'm not exactly rich, the squad was supposed to take up the last of the money I had left after building my Tor-Reus hybrid.

Spain is not exactly the best when it comes to defenders. However, Canella can afford a dead link at the CB next to him because he is strong linked with Jese. But start from the right back instead. Get UP Carvajal of Bayer Leverkusen for your RB. You then need a Leverkusen CB - but thankfully they have Omer Toprak, if you can stretch to his 18k price tag. Daniel Schwaab makes a good substitute if you can't afford Toprak.

If you use Toprak, then you need a CB who is able to get perfect chem with a goalkeeper (and then you use him). Every good CB bar one needs this if you use Toprak, and the exception is probably the best, Felipe. He is the strongest of the fast CBs, but also his Brazilian nationality means he gets a link with Casemiro so he is on 7 chem and only needs a Hannover 96 GK to get him on 9 chem. Thankfully they have the somewhat decent Markus Miller so you can use him and you should be alright.

It's a little easier if you use Schwaab, because if you use another German CB (Bungert and Kirchhoff of Mainz are the two fastest ones, and you can use them as a 9 chem combo as well) then he will get 7 chem. Of course, as it's the national league, you can use better goalkeepers than what would be possible with Felipe.

So really the defenders you use comes down to cost. But make sure you use UP Carvajal at RB, and then you have to either use Toprak/Schwaab and then another Bundesliga defender + a goalie that will put the other CB on 9 chem, or use the Bungert/Kirchhoff combo I said above (both of them have other very good stats to help them as well so they're a good shout).
 
If I came up against that in the intro screen, I would just quit then. The owner of such team would have shares in the R2 button. And the price is also lacking Vertonghan and Robben's cost! Crikey!

I figured Mandzukic would make it better, and in all honesty Maicon isn't that good on FIFA for me.

That's why I thought it was funny. Robben is going at about 2 million from what I've read, and I'm guessing Vertonghen will be six figures with 85 defending.

The Pro League team in 4-1-2-1-2 shouldn't cost more than 90k, 170k if I want Kouyate.

Has anyone had IF Reus perchance?

The two new IF Liga Portuguesa strikers look attractive. Not something I thought I'd say from two Benfica and Sporting players...

In Form Redmond looks mad, but I still think there's potential for him to have an even better card. Still unsure if he completely matches Zaha. Similarly the new IF Andersson looks strong as does IF Wanderson.
 
If you guys could have all the players from one team just for use (can't sell them), which team would it be and why? (Thus, the answer can't be Real so I can sell TOTY Ronaldo and buy everyone in the game twice :sly:)

Mine would be Bayern, tearing up the wings with Robben and Ribery, crossing to Gomez and Mandzukic with Schweinsteiger and Kroos there for the rebound. Not to mention scoring from Alaba, crosses from Lahm and saves from Neuer.

Netted four goals in one game with Robben, including my first free kick in months. I've only made 3 or 4 total. Still lost though.

Just won D1 with 7 straight wins using the Pro League team with Agbonlahor and Co. as rest. Success.

If I had a couple hundred thousand more coins I could actually make this, it would destroy everything:

I have way too many good players on my new Chelsea team already. So many young players that are insanely good. I love being Chelsea because they are my favourite BPL team and because Roman $$$$$$
 
I sold Robben and made a new team, will post it in a little while. Don't know what to do with the remaining coins though. The Pro League team absolutely dominates some games and sucks others, can't figure it out.

Ineista is very good at LM in a 3-5-2. I had him there, if you play football in the middle he will make his way to the edge of the box and with his dribbling and cutting in onto his right foot he is deadly.

Don't expect to outsprint everyone though.
 
Good advice. I don't think it will matter though because EA is sending me on yet another losing spree for no reason. Getting tackled in the box, no PK, every pass going to the other team, all tackles not giving me possession, etc.
 
I wish I had enough for Ibrahimovic, that team I made with Traore looks so much fun.

If you told me how many one on ones that I earned through good build up were saved recently I would probably cry. Just as well as the number of unearned one on ones the opponents get and I never save.

Switch Torres for Sturridge and Di Natale for Miccoli and that should cover it.

I'm considering giving up on gold teams and buying IF Donk.

On another note, I am able to log onto the EA servers today. Have no desire to play UT though. Going to hop back onto my manager career mode.
 
I've bought Gardner (the expensive one), Diame, and Bannan for my BPL silvers. I also bought Kouyate, Odjidja-Odoe and Kimling for the Pro League team. All I need now is Mayuka and IF Jääskeläinen. Except there are no IF Jussis on the market :lol:.
