First attempt at carbon fiber

Well, with some help from Jpec's carbon fibering tutorial, and an old photoshop disc, I decided to carbon fiber my desktop picture out..So, here it is before...

So..Uh..Yeah, did I do a good job? Bad? Somewhere in between? Any advice would be helpful.

Not bad, but it's still a bit dark. Try lowering the opacity of your cf layer a little bit more.

Play around with the Contrast/Brightness Levels!

Alright, I went back and started from scratch since I messed up in a couple of places...And I was doing 100% opacity, and this time I used 85%. It should also be known that this is the first time I've ever used photoshop before too

So here it is, the new version..With a few extra cf spots, and looking alot better (I think so anyway)...

pretty good. Aside from the ugly car, it's a good carbonfiber job, considdering that you used an older photoshop...
