Ok my friend no problem. Thanks my friend
Yeah the Reventon is a handful
4 transmissions and yet they all are running 1:07.1's with only LSD adjustments. This is going to come down to fine tuning and driver style.
Yes it is. Turn two, and the final chicane are huge time pits get them wrong and your toasted for a couple of seconds
I lost about a second between turn 1 and turn 2 almost every lap ( either one of them always have sloppy braking entry ) then the chicane, have not been able to go through well there ( at least half a second there ), I blame my worn analog stick ( for SP1 at Rome ) - stuck in 1:08s.
My SP1 tune is getting there. Two different suspension settings and they are a few hundredths apart in terms of lap time. Each setup has its own advantages and disadvantages. Tough choices right now.. As for the Lambo.. Holy cow this car is feisty and will need more work to dial it in.
Just tested and this car has totally locked stock transmission, you can try to do anything but you won't get it change ratios.
Wow that's s new one sounds good. I look forward to driving it once my car is done
Try Dpads my friend, we'll get you 1:07's in no time...!!!
The SP1 is an interesting car. Never knew what it really was until I read the info. A re-skinned F430 ordered by a Japanese man who was the president of the Japanese Ferrari club. Got money?
@Lionheart2113 My fastest thus far is a 1:06.810 with the outside front tire on fire way too often. My leaderboard is 06.810 to 07.006
I can cruise all day at 8-9/10ths but when it's time to hit 10/10ths, the car falls apart almost entirely.
Just getting started though. I spent all day yesterday at Mid Ohio checking out the Indy 200 and Pirelli WC cars.
That sounds like way more fun than tuning in a video game.
Yep, pretty cool stuff. To see the McLaren 650 out there was real cool, too quiet though. The Ferrari 458 sounded amazing. The Nismo GT-R sounded sweet too. It was easily the softest set up car of the lot. Much body roll and so much so the front splitter dragged under braking and heavy turning. Cadillacs backfired so loud, you could feel it. Bentley sounded sweet on the one lap it completed. Same with Audi, but it was piercing. Acuras were awesome. KTM cars are wicked.
I see how this is going to go…
Right there with ya! Haven't made any suspension adjustments yet, so there are still plenty of chances to screw it up then go back to stock.
I spent some time today in the Reventon and it seems to respond quite nicely. Sloppy lap out there at 1:38.5
Time to make adjustments.
Not only are the times dropping, the car feels a lot better. Stock suspension action is not fast. More like, frustrating.
Great car and great track selection.
Put me down for the Reventon, please. Probable to test at Monza.
They are both great cars and tracks. Suited to each ones strong points I think.
I hope your move went well, are you settled enough to put a tune or two in?
Done sir. Sorry missed your tag when I made the challenge -_-
What speed are you guys topping at on the front and back straights with the SP1.
I am in the mid 1:07s and my speed is 263kmh down the back straight at the moment.
I think this is tune ok below, I use a G29 wheel and it will be very interesting how the DS3 tester will go with this tune .

Simple build 585PP version of Reventon, drives well on SS at Monza with no Chicane. It's heavy, so keep that in mind, brake early, slow in fast out. Tested without clutch or drive shaft upgrades, 1:40s low on 1st lap ( sloppy run )
@Otaliema Here's top speeds for ya, in video form, and mph.
That's a 1:06 something
169mph on first lap out, but 170mph is tops for me once the tires warm up... hopefully more when I tighten up the brakes and stop the front end from rolling over. Nice driving @coryclifford
Tune looks good with in rules.
All linked up.
Ty on the speed.
Tune looks good with rules. All linked up.
Nice lap very clean and precise.
The semi-racing exhaust has a very distinct sound. Very pleasing, the racing just makes it sounds like it has a frog in the tail pipe
As I did ask you guys, I'm hitting 275-277kmh / 171-172.5 mph on the front and 263-265 kmh /163-164 on the back. And yes I'm making the turns I could prolly go faster on the back but I seem to miss the turn when I try
My SP1 could not reach those top speeds
You went after a replica style though didn't you?... put it on slim-fast!
Thanks, that's my style.
And thanks @Lionheart2113
It certainly does, and after hearing the 458 racing around this weekend, it's also the closest to what I heard. Yet, still way far away from what I actually heard.
And to think they hired new sound guys too. They must've put them right on GT Sport
Puddy cars are not quick, but they have personality!!!
Count me in for SP1. Not too bad for not touching my PS3 since the last comp. I'm at 171 MPH. Easily another 0.3 but i keep screwing up two corners and semi-crashing. More tomorrow.
Hmm.. Wings.. Didn't even think at those are allowed.. Grin..
Never said they weren't
No changing your SP1 but have at with the Reventon
