I'm stuck on taking the Quick Match Touring Car racing line through the first bit. If I don't, I feel off. Actually, my whole lap is the QM racing line.

No idea what that QM line is. Doesn't seem like either line is faster, just that there are multiple ways to take the first corner. I made up time cause on my previous lap i kinda screwed up one of the corners really bad. If you want I can always take a quick vid of either lap.

It's pretty much, stay tight inside everywhere as to not allow anyone to slide up the inside on ya. To get a better exit speed out of the first turn area into the first left, swinging wide out during T1 then cutting in has proven faster for me. I just can't break my QM stay inside habit line.

They are both great cars and tracks. Suited to each ones strong points I think.
I hope your move went well, are you settled enough to put a tune or two in?

Done sir. Sorry missed your tag when I made the challenge -_-

@coryclifford @Lionheart2113
What speed are you guys topping at on the front and back straights with the SP1.

By August 11, maybe. Got cable and internet finally wired to my office, but game is still in a box somewhere and the racing chair is sitting lonely in the corner. I need a good distraction. Might unpack it this weekend. I haven't played Project Cars or Forza6 in weeks either.

Here is to hoping you can make it.

Not sure how to go about with the damper settings. Setting them all to 5 seems to make a slight but profound difference, so I know there is something there, yet changing them individually isn't giving me enough information to proceed.

Also unsure of a few other settings, as I seem to be getting the same lap times more or less, weird car this is.

Wasn't able to improve my lap time today, as I kept crashing into the quick left-right chicane.

Here's what I do. If you care. As I approach 1000 miles with the SP1 already. Drive different tracks. Especially because Roma is so boring and simple. I need more input from more terrain, even if it's a one track tuned car, I need more.

Apricott Hill and Nurburgring in particular (gearing doesn't work the same at Nürb). If I get a car to work well on those, they're generally decent cars overall.

Damn, I thought I over did it at 400 miles! Yeah, I usually do but I'm just wondering how to make it easier to drive Rome without sacrificing lap time speed. Couple of sections such as the left-right as well as the last few right turns before the home stretch. Very easy to get those wrong, and even I often do.

Don't forget, the almost more important aspect to this FITT stuff is Driver's Choice. I can build a rocket ship no one can drive but me, and score in last place. Might be fast, but sometimes, no one cares.

Build me one? I really want to go below 6 👍

Yeah, that's precisely why I'm trying to make it easier to drive. There is one quirk I'm gonna leave into the car, which is at the end of the first corner transition from right to left, the rear end becomes light which causes oversteer - gonna leave that in :)

That little hump cost me a 1:06 lap the other day :banghead: averaging 1:07's with ease in my car so should be able to do it in anyone hands. Gonna take it to Ascari and Trial Mountain tonight test it on hard terrain tracks

There is an error with the tuning sheet: the car is supposed to have the stock exhaust manifold, not the isometric.

@Otaliema I just noticed you had me down for a tuner on the Lamborghini, no way I'll be able to do that. Struggling to get the SP1 tweaked.:yuck: Testing might be in the cards though. A few days to go and then it's a week off work before spending a week in Malta!:D

Was a guess as you were poking your nose at it.
I'll take ya off the list.

Mediterranean? Whatcha gonna eat?
What else pasta with fish and grape leaves ;)

My Ferrari is about done. Not completely happy with it but it is stable and easy to drive. Not a TT setup in any guise but hopefully the testers enjoy it none the less. The reventon is looking good so far and should be good to go by tomorrow. This event is fun and the tracks are interesting to tune for too. Very different setups required.

Tune looks good but you're under the power required for the car.
Needs another 10hp to qualify sir.
