Fixed ylod how to mantain.

So I just got my PS3 fixed from ylod (3 weeks ago).


What are some tips I can get to keep it running smooth.

In case anyone is wondering, I got it fixed at a store for $60. The store seemed very professional.

-Keep the unit off the floor if the floor is covered in a carpet and is otherwise not a smooth surface.

-Keep the unit well ventilated.

-Play in a cool room. Avoid playing in excessive heat.

-Keep the console in an area where it has the least chances of dropping.

-Avoid excessive playing time. Usually, the PS3 can run safely days on end.

-Keep away from moisture.

When it comes down to it, most of it is just common sense. Just use good judgement. Hope this helps.

Well depends.

If you got the ylod fixed via
1 the reflow, back up your data every now and then,
because chances are big it will fail again on you

2 Reballing (probably not for 60 bucks), you should be good if done properly

Well that's as far as my knowledge goes, i might be wrong, so don't panic.
