I ordered two of these babies for my G27 and (mildly disappointing) CSR Elite. The price of the two rigs was 240 euros including deliverery! It looks like there's somekinda shifterholder + there's a strong possibility that you can mount the buttkicker somewhere too. I was gonna order two rseats but after reading about the many problems the rseat has, i decided to save over 700 euros! The rattles and wobbles are easier to swallow with a lower pricetag.http://www.fk-shop.de/index.php?lang=1&cl=details&anid=FKRSE011901&redirected=1

With regards the shifter mount it bolts to the right of the frame and is sturdy and I would imagine that the Buttkicker would fit to the seat base.👍

Shifter mount comes as a tubular pipe with a slim rectangle plate and secured with bolts onto the frame. I made the shifter mount from MDF and covered in a carbon fibre sheet.👍

Damn thats even cheaper than a wheel stand. great deal and probably will be a big hit on the market making the other brands drop their price.

Yes. I paid 134 euros for the wheel stand pro. I get horrible neck pains using the stand + there's too much hassle moving the WSP. Rennsport wheel stand is twice the trouble; you need a forklift to move the stand. :ouch:

Seriously you can't lift 8kg excluding equipment? You must be a weak shrimp. I can even lift the rSeat with T500 RS and TH8 RS attached, and I sit on my butt all day and don't go to the gym. Weird...

All the issues you mention with the rSeat, don't have it. Yes the seat cushion needs a bit of extra foam, and I had to get longer M8 bolts with lock nuts but that's all it costed extra. Locknut is there so nothing is going to rattle loose. ;)

No, i don't mean that it's too heavy for lifting :dunce:. I mean there's too much hassle with the wires hanging everywhere and with it's sticky rubber feet (you can't drag the stand) etc.etc. I'm glad you're happy with the rseat. It looks great. I just read that the mounting holes for the CSRE were in the wrong place + the rattle with the buttkicker + pedalplate + the extra foam + the play of the c-column... Those things made me think twice (and i also needed two seats; little under 1000 euros ).

Ooooh, completely misunderstood then. lol

The CSR Elite mounting hole issue was with one user only as far as I have read. He contacted rSeat and he got a complete new plate send to him free of charge.
Rattle with the Buttkicker came from loose screws. Solution is longer screws of 8x30mm and a locknut.
Pedalplate issue I had was easily solved with larger metal ring for more surface to spread the pressure more evenly + new plastic/nylon rings + long 8x30 screw + locknut. It's extremely solid.
Extra foam is just packaging foam I had lying around, but any high density foam will do.
I have no play what so ever in the C-column. Yeah, the play the metal has by itself. Which is the same play that makes a bridge swing or a high building sway.

All in all I think I spend 10 euros extra ish at most as I replaced all screws since it looked better that way. Maybe it would be a bit more expensive if you had to buy foam. Like say 30 ish in total then.

This is the foam I put in extra:

I understand your concern though. A thousand is a lot of money, so yeah... I'd rather be safe then sorry too.

Does anyone have any idea whether the FK rig copes with the size of Fanatec CSP's?

I currently use a gameracer and i would seriously consider getting an FK if the pedals fit OK as they barely fit on the gameracer.

How much is the shipping cost to europe?

Shiping is free in Germany but the best way to see how much it costs to ship to your house is to place an order and put your address and not go through with payment (dont complete the order) its free of charge and you get the total cost...

I have the FK set up. The pedal mount dimensions are 15.5" sq with mounting points. Hope that helps.👍

@harvysmoon, as you have one, how do you find it? Driving position, stability, build quaility etc? Thanks!

I am very happy with the frame. A FK bucket seat with the logo constructed with tubular steel, very heavy better in a permanent location if you have the room. Sprayed in a gloss black, wheel and pedal mount are pre drilled for various wheels and pedals. I still can't believe how cheap it was what a steal.👍

Thanks for the reply, yeah as I have the space for a permanet location I think I'm going to go for it, it's only £98 + shipping, when a wheel stand pro is £93 for an extra £5 I don't think it's much of a contest just wanted to make sure the frame was good, what wheel do you use?

Received....
This is good enough for what I paid(119 shipped-europe). You can't go wrong with this cockpit if you pay less than 200 €/$
Soon i'll post some photos of what is in the box and a mini review of its strong and weak points. I must rig it and test with t500 and g25, buttkicker and so on...
Believe me, if your budget is short, go for it.

So, are there any reviews of this cockpit about?

So, are there any reviews of this cockpit about?

I Just finnished to assemble it all together.
It was the oddest sim experience I had so far¡¡¡¡

Leftover and missing screws¡¡¡¡¡¡, allen key included, star screwdriver included but not necessary at all ¡¡¡¡¡, wheel plate is hard plastic but not predrilled, shifter mount included and predrilled but holes doesn´t fit the holes of G25 shifter so you must do a new hole , some pieces doesn´t fit together and you have to force it violently(back and front frame parts), the seat is unconfortable and need lots of extra foam (as Rseat, possible a lot more). Is necessary a drilling machine, wrench , new and diferents sizes of screws and females screws and lots of patience, but finally I managed to fit it all and I´m satisfied enough. To be honest you get what you pay.
Too late now with no time to test it with the wheel ... tired after about 2 hours fighting hard.
Tomorrow more.
