No, only at right side. And I had to do one hole bigger because it was not able to fit both screws to hard mount the G25 shifter.

I Just finnished to assemble it all together.
It was the oddest sim experience I had so far¡¡¡¡

Leftover and missing screws¡¡¡¡¡¡, allen key included, star screwdriver included but not necessary at all ¡¡¡¡¡, wheel plate is hard plastic but not predrilled, shifter mount included and predrilled but holes doesn´t fit the holes of G25 shifter so you must do a new hole , some pieces doesn´t fit together and you have to force it violently(back and front frame parts), the seat is unconfortable and need lots of extra foam (as Rseat, possible a lot more). Is necessary a drilling machine, wrench , new and diferents sizes of screws and females screws and lots of patience, but finally I managed to fit it all and I´m satisfied enough. To be honest you get what you pay.
Too late now with no time to test it with the wheel ... tired after about 2 hours fighting hard.
Tomorrow more.
Lets face it:grumpy: even top end frames have there assembly issues at least the seat is a genuine bucket and not some cheap rubbish that they pass as the real deal.👍

IMO the seat is not the best for confort. I replaced it with a new one with reclinable back suport and is much better. I´m going to sell the original FK with sliders to a friend (still not sure at what price ¡¡¡¡)
I´ve done some photos with the G25 hard mounted. Pedals ok with 4 screws on the predrilled holes (right-left/front back- rock solid). The front part of the plate is fixed on the bottom hole of the frame (2 more available for more angle if needed) Back of this plate comes not fixed anywhere so you can put something below if want higher position ¿?. Wheel ok if you drill the plastic plate on the right place (it comes ready for it), shifter mounting was a bit more difficult because it come soldered not right and it was necessary to adapt a new hole . The atachment to the frame is not solid enough but the solution was inserting it totaly in the bigger tube of the frame and use a smaller screw to fasten. Now I´m really happy with this frame.

What dimensions are the seat, so I can look into a replacement if ever I buy one.

Seat sliders:
Distance from right to left holes : 40 cm
Distance from front to back holes :28 cm

The buttkicker fits perfectly on the frame. You can put it below the seat ...front or back, and also on the front frame below the wheel or next to the pedals.

:indiff: I received the racing seats yesterday and i've been fighting with them all day. Wrong tools, missing parts (let's see if they send me replacements) you name it. 102 euros is the absolute max price for this rig. The seat is by far the most uncomfortable seat i've ever tried. My back is already killing me and i've only used the seat about 1 hour .. I have to build "risers" under the wheel plate because the G27 sits way too low for my taste. CSR "Elite" works better. I should've bought the rseats...

You have few options to solve your problems:
1-put 10cm of foam and your back will be painless
2-replace the seat with a reclinable one as I did. Another world.
3- mount the seat angled back and down without the back frame
4- cut the tubes of the frame to get the wheel closer to you
Be creative with the money you saved!!!!!!
As an example I've sold the seat for 80€ so the frame costed me 40 euro!!!!

I gotta try these. 👍 Btw. how do i mount the seat angled back? and also, do you mean that i take the slider thing off?

Yes, slider off and putting a longer screw on front holes or tendonjoint or similar

New version avalaible! What do you think about it?

As Dirt Rally is out in its early access form, I took my good old Logitech DFGT out of some god forsaken closet and started playing a bit. I immediately got hooked on the game, so I thought I'd also look for a proper racing seat since I've never had one. I found a great link (here on GT planet) with some dude that put together a massive list of racing seats. I'm from Europe (I live in the Netherlands), so I discarded a lot of the links as they only shipped in the US. I ended up with a few options, but the one that really caught my eye was the FK racing seat pasted by edge988 above.

I checked their website for a couple of weeks and the price of the above seat seemed to always be 193 EUR. However, I stumbled upon an offer one day, and I bought the imitation leather black/grey one for 118 EUR including shipping. I didn't know what to expect, but honestly for that money it was worth it even for the frame alone.

The seat arrived 3 days later via DHL. It was neatly packed in a fairly large box weighing 32 kg (so don't ask your girlfriend to pick it up for you). The assembly was a piece of cake as it only has a handful of nuts and bolts. The installation instructions are just one single A4 paper, so you can imagine how straight forward it is.

It was fairly easy to customize it to my preferred racing position. I'm 1m97 tall, so if I could make it work, I think most people should be fine. The chair is surprisingly comfortable for the price, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has a well padded backrest (I saw that other cheap racing seats had close to no padding on the backrest, so I was a bit afraid about this, but it turned out great). The only thing which I should point out is that it's fairly narrow. Worst case scenario, I think some tweaks can be made to widen the two things to the left and right of the chair's base as the cover can be fully removed (it has zippers and velcro on the back).

Here's a picture with my DFGT on it:

Here are the overall pros and cons:

pros:
- dirt cheap
- comfortable seat (if you fit in it)
- highly adjustable: length, height and angle of the wheel base, angle of the pedal base
- very stable
- it looks very well in my humble opinion
- did I mention how cheap it was? yes? well, I'll mention it again
- easy to assemble (only extra tool needed is the silver key in the picture above - size 13)

cons:
- the seat might be too narrow for some folks. As I mentioned above, there might be an easy way to widen it a bit, but I didn't take the cover off to look at it. Frankly, even if you have to eventually get another seat, the frame itself is well worth 118 EUR
- the wheel base holders didn't line up 100% next to the pedal base, but a bit of push and shove got them to a position where I could fasten the bolts.
EDIT: after re-fastening the bolts, everything aligns perfectly :)
- not much else to be honest

I checked the website and they currently have the seats at the normal price of 193 EUR, but perhaps they'll discount some colours down to 118 EUR (actually 104 before shipping), so keep an eye out on the site if you're interested.

I know this isn't a proper review, but it's my first attempt at something which is remotely useful (I've been a bit of a leecher, but I thought it's time a I gave something back as well). Hope it helps.
