That looks very cool! Nicely done with the shifter. 👍

Edit; Just noticed your project page.

Here's my rig for FM4 and GT5:
CNT Racing Sim with Fanatec CSR, Nixim V2 modded G27 Pedals, TH8RS shifter with SFA1 adapter, and a Clark Synthesis TST209 under the seat for tactile.

Leaving it there for now because of convenience. Later I'll rearrange the cave.

This is my new rig which is still work in progress. Many thanks to wayside for sharing his plans on this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=126365

I opted to make mine about 30" wide leaving the counsle off. I really wanted to make it out of steel tubing, but I had some of the lumber from past projects already. I just could'nt afford to make it with steel right now, to many other things I need to buy.

my home made shifter mount, Thinking I might turn the sequential shifter into a handbrake. Thats my old logitech wheel I'm using just for mockup I have a CSR that will be put there when it's done.

This just a mockup of the pedals I still have to make a frame or them.

Actually switched to a g27 shifter, as my fanatec has begun to act really funky.

plan on a
TH8RS shifter
Handbrake on the side of the chair
Speaker placement.
CSR Elite
STICKERS

wish i had access to more tools to do some DIY stuff. a lot of amazing inspiration on these forums and gtplanet!

Talk to me about the Clark 209. I have one on the way, due Monday. I'm mounting it under the platform where the seat is. I'm also adding a small Aura puck right under the CSR Elite pedals. I'm really wanting your opinion on the 209 and what did you end up paying for it? I gave 73 and some change.

I like how your pedals are inverted:cheers: That is basically how I inverted my pedals except the top mounting board is hinged giving me 6" of forward or backward pedal adjustment.

@encity5
Love that shifter man

@patro
Thanks I searched adjustable pedals and found your post on insidesimracing and thought about doing that, but I decided to stick with the base plan and hard mount them.

Here it is pretty much finished . I want to put some rear speaker stands on the back, add another buttkicker and when it warms up take it back out to the garage and paint it.

I know , not much of a mancave yet. my wife use to run a home daycare and this is where the kids played. We still have alot of toys to get rid of and redo the room. all in good time.

Pedals mounted now.

Sorry, I missed your message. The Clark TST209 is awesome! I paid 75 plus shipping. I swear I can still feel right and left side collisions independently (more or less).

The Aura's are nice, but the 209 is much better for the seat IMO.

If you have them already, let us know what you think!

That is an interesting inversion. It probably feels better than putting your feet on the fanatec base. (Looks at standard pedals) Hmm...

They are Csr Elite pedals.The clutch & brake do feel better in this postion, but the gas pedal could be at a little better angle. I'm thinking about pulling the gas pedal plate off and adding a roller or pivot, then mounting the gas pedal plate( or make a different one) on the floor of the rig with a hinge on it. Kind of like some real gas pedals are installed in cars.

Edit: When i first read your post I read it wrong, I thought you were asking if they were standard pedals.
when I flipped the gas pedal I also flipped the block undeneath it. That helped put it at a liitle better angle than it was,but could still be better.

My clean simple entertainment setup

I just recently converted my basement into my very own man cave for my gaming and entertainment needs. For my gaming chair I bought an XRocker Pedestal, which have speakers and subs in them.

My tv can rotate for a straight on view to my gaming chair. When not racing, I can simply move my wheel stand to wall.

The 2 setups above are very cool, BUT they are in the wrong topic

This topic is about Forza Motorsport Rigs (xbox & xbox one)

Oops. Why have I been double posting when trying to edit lately?
