You forgot Mario kart for damage.
You forgot Mario kart for damage.
DaverytimesLOl, Updated. The damage is pretty non-existence.
Weird. Sounds like a big waste of resources. That is different than what Turn 10 has stated. In fact, they had released a patch due to multiple livery layers shifting during races. I remember this one time, the cow I created on the side of my car (made the spotted cow logo from Spotted Cow beer), and the eyes and hooves shifted from the rest of the image during and after the race. Looked funny as hell.
You are doing the exact same thing he accused you of doing. Bringing up Grid and Le man 24 Hours does not help your case, of-course the features in GT5 has been done by other games but no other game has it all in one package, If Grid has the best damage modelling it doesn't have weather, if Shift 2 has the best night racing it doesn't have weather or track creator (even if it is a striped out version). If you want to experience everything that GT5 has to offer here is the list of games you need to go buy: Rfactor (Number of cars {mainly because of the community}), Iracing (Physics), Mario Kart (Damage), PGR 4 (weather), Shift 2 (Night racing), Modnation Racers (Track creator) and some other things i most likely forgot. GT5 might not have perfected any of the above but am glad that these things are all in one package, this is the Forza part of the forum so it will come as no surprise if we don't come to an agreement but each person should respect the efforts put out by these developers.

VaxxtxSorry, I lost respect for PD when I played GT5. I dont respect the fact they 1/2 assed everything in the latest GT5.
Like you said above...I WOULD rather play F12010 than play F1 cars in GT5. I would rather be able to play awesome night racing on every track in Shift2, than a select few in GT5. I did find making tracks in ModNation much more fun with more abilities than GT5. Dirt 2-3 for Rally...etc. etc. I can go on.
You seem to think its a good thing that GT5 tried to cram all that in together. Little secret, it isnt a good thing. A ton of crap followed by more helpings of crap...is still crap.
So if someone wants to cornhole themselves to one game, thats fine. Myself, I would rather have fun with 5 games that do well in what they were aiming for.
And you're one to be talking because?Funny isn't it, resort to other games that includes features which Forza games doesn't have is rather ironic.
And you're one to be talking because?
Probably because I'm the only one who is not posting silly pictures.
But, that's only because you spend your time here making up silly claims & then running to the Brony thread when you're asked to back them up, right?Probably because I'm the only one who is not posting silly pictures.

I see we're going to play the 'stupid' card, here.Interesting, if they need backing up then why do I need to support them, unless there are pretty obvious, then they wont need support, right?

You might think its crap but its not, to race with my buddies at 4:30 am is amazing. People say it's not weather on all track... ok but the tracks that have weather makes sense. The Ring, Suzuka, LeMans, Monza. Suzuka rain track is amazing. When the sun comes out, and your windsheild finially dries makes cockpit view that much better. The 24 hour layout is simply amazing seeing the tents and spectators with the smoke is awsome. The track creator is not the best in the business however it does the job. I love togue , and the tracks people create, name and call there home track is giving me a great touge experience, especially when I beat them on their home track. In your eyes you see it as being cramed crap, but IMO It's not, they might not be perfected however they are making my experience with GT5 a great one. The game is getting better and better, and with some more polishing GT5 can turn out even better.

You make no sense.

That would be true IF a whole bunch of assumptions are made.
1) You know what you're talking about
2) You're a trustworthy guy
3) You have no agenda, consciously or sub-consciously
And the list goes on. However it would also require faith on our part that everything you're saying is without reproach, but being that all of the above seems not to be extended by you to others it's pretty difficult to expect the same. Don't you think?
I didn't realize the definition of the word "people", meant one.Funny, other people seems to think otherwise.

But, the simple fact is, more people in this thread have argued your "points" far more than the 1 or 2 folks who agreed with, what were really just a rare, well constructed post by you.
There is a difference between what they do & what you do.True, but then there are for example the multiple GT5 graphic glitches of the standard cars posted on this section, a lot of people see them, they know that they are glitches, and they are never address as "flamebait", in fact they are never identified as glitches at all.
There is a difference between what they do & what you do.
I am curious whether the "gameplay" model car is actually the players car. I think it is an AI or secondary players car. It is impossible to get that kind of camera angle on your own car without the use of photomode. In game, the players car has more details than that of an AI or secondary player, so this comparison might not be accurate.
Yes, really.Really?
I wonder if he acknowledged that the pre-race camera in FM3 rotates around the car before the race starts.
With that said, I wish to have met you under different circumstances.
VaxxtxI am glad you enjoy it. Lots of people do. I cant relate, at all though. I really cant grasp how people (that HAVE played other titles) still load up GT5 and get excited. Its just my opinion though.
I still think its 98% crap though. I couldnt take more a few minutes of the horrid sound to be honest, thats what made me frist cringe. I guess with a certain track, and a certain car, it can LOOK pretty. But when it comes down to the meat, like tire pressure tuning, 10 ton AI on rails, engine sound, no custom cars, no damage, online physics differ from offline, paint chips, and track markers that are made of steel instead of foam, I call that crap. I really cant get past it.
You make no sense.
JDMKING13No damage? When the last time you played the game? Engine sounds are pretty good with my 7.1 I will give you some cars sound like crap, but the exhaust upgrade visually and sound wise is awsome. When hitting SSR5 club with my boys and hearing the aftermarket exhaust drown out my stock exhaust puts a smile on my face, this does not happen in forza 3 I'm praying we get upgraded sounds as we did in FM2 In FM4. I agree with you 100% with the liveries, FM is the king in that department. There are some people who don't care about liveries however. I don't understnad why people hate the paint chips, I love the fact that GT has real paint colors and name.
