I have no problem with it as long as it's connected to something and not like a Wiimote. If you don't have the money for a DFGT it looks like a good(ish) alternative. I'm all for it.
LMSCorvetteGT2DFGT's aren't that expensive and this will probably be double what a DFGT cost on say ebay or amazon. Next argument please.
superbike81I understand, and even kinda like the concept of these type of controls, however the major problem is that it won't work for races any longer than "x" minutes (depends on your endurance). Try holding your arms out for even 5 minutes, doesn't sound like long, but it starts to hurt.
Yes I make that point in the other thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=7176024#post7176024My guess is that they will start selling all new Playstations with the Move system. I mean why else would they release a product which will only work with move? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the move up to now hasn't had a whole lot of sales. Logically, if there is no one to sell a new product (In this case the steering wheel) to, why would you even consider producing it in the first place. Therefore, Sony has no choice but to sell more Moves.
No, it has to be connected to something right? How else would FFB work? Just normal DS3 vibrations?
I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole for a driving game, but I wonder how this could work for some sort of flying game. In addition to just rotating it on a single axis like a steering wheel, you could tilt this thing up and down, and push it forward and pull it back, which could lift and descend your aircraft. This might be a decent controller to bring back Descent.
CoxisI was thinking that too, it looks more like a yoke than a steering wheel.
Still, the thing isn't anchored to anything. Gosh I hate this lame motion controller tendency.
Kinda surprised that they brought this out, but this opinion is coming from a group of guys who pretty much all have wheels already. Maybe they're trying to hit some Asian market or something where kids just play arcadey type stuff or dont have room for wheels or whatever...and GT5 is going along because of contract issues, or the fact that they are already integrated with Move coding for (crappy) headtracking.
