Hate to see Vettel inherit a lead position, from a British driver, on a British track, due to no fault of the Brit. I'd be cheering too.

Finally some bad luck for finger boy; come on Rosberg, bring it home! :D

The only way the crowd would have been louder is if a British driver had inherited the lead from Vettel's unfortune.

That was beautiful. Shades of Mansell there...

Dammit. :( Well, his "luck" had to run out sometime, I guess...

So no one will say like in Canada that the crowd is unpolite etc.. ? Applauding on a car failure ?

Thank you for saying this, everyone got on my case for defending the crowd for booing, but everyone gets happy at the cheers via gearbox failure. Double standards?

God dang it, I wanted him to win just to see the little temper tantrums from the Vettel haters. Next race weekend maybe.

I just find it hilarious how Vettel is turning into F1's Kyle Busch. Love it or hate it, but I think it at least adds up to some fun.

I can rest easy in the knowledge that it was yet another consistently quick drive from Vettel, and it took a gearbox failure to take it away from him.

There's a chance of Webber winning this. I hope he does.

Maybe we can have temper tantrums from Vettel lovers instead? That could be more funny.

Now my predictions are completely ruined due to Vettel dropping out...but I rather see a failure and the championship being tighter now going to Germany.

That's true. It adds a bit of excitement I guess.

So first Hamilton (my favourite driver) gets a puncture from the lead, and now Vettel (one of my Fantasy F1 picks for this week) retires from the lead...

Fml... :indiff:

At last, racing will resume.

I doubt it'll happen, what with Webber on fresh tyres behind and having to pass Sutil, but I'd love to see Ricciardo on the podium.

Edit: Well, the dream lasted for one sector :dopey:

Daniel Ricciardo in 4th. Didn't expect the Toro Rosso to be quite that far up the field.

And a Force India running 3rd!

I hope Hamilton can get some place back.

Perez, Tyre went.

Perez has a tire failure.

Another tyre!

Bye Bye Perez

Another tire problem - What did I say

We are not done yet ...

Look I don't care if everyone hates me here, but somebody, please tell the FIA, to RED FLAG THE DAMN RACE.

THIS IS NOT SAFE.

There goes yet another tire.

Which apparently damaged Grosjean's damaged wing even further.

... Pirelli have to do something for next GP. Or Silverstone need to sort out the kerbs. One of them is doing something very wrong.

Hamilton 6th, great job Fernando lol.
