The rare reverse "leave me alone, I know what I'm doing"

Stroll's message was pretty funny. He sounds like a kid - let me know what's going on in the race.

Not a bad race at all so far.

Finally Charles, it only took 38 laps.

Ouch, I thought Sainz was looking good, but then Russell sails past.

So Max is doing more lift and coast and still pulling a lead on Perez on older tires...

What is the life for the soft tyre? I can see Max take those for his last laps.

Edit.

Nope. Mediums it is.

TSN is reminding me why I usually watch F1 TV. Let’s have commercials during that crucial pit stop in the race.

Croft and Kravitz are also annoying

Looks like the RB garage has abandoned Perez due to a lack of speed. Max wins this in a rout.

I'm gonna jinx it, no safety car today.

Last to win a race from P9 is…..
Niki Lauda.

Alonso definitely has a "compliment Lance at every opportunity" clause in his contract

Watching the race while racing it.

How the hell had Alonzo got time to watch the screens and drive

Alonso has always watched the big screens. That's what made him so brilliant when he was a title contender.

Quite a few of the better drivers have mentioned doing that. I remember Kimi, Lewis, and Max mentioning watching the screens as well.

Horner hasn't been watching the race. "Mighty middle stint" there were only two stints

How long until the Red Bull drivers crash into each other?

On the interview during the race he mentioned laps 20-40 where Max really put in the times to catch Perez, so that's probably what he's referring to.

Ferrari was looking pretty good in the beginning, but Mercedes was looking better in the 2nd half.

Clean race, no carbon loss.

Sargeant had to change his front wing after the start, but other than that very clean yes, especially considering the number of overtakes on a track with a lot of walls
